This is my go to nail salon. I’ve always felt welcomed and have had great service and quality work done. Not sure if under new ownership since the last time I came before having my baby, but techs were not as friendly or welcoming. It felt as if our business was a burden to them. They also spoke that way about other customers wanting to punt the work to each other. Yes I understand Vietnamese. I also don’t know what role Yen (Julia is her English name I think) plays but acted like a privileged owner. She was extremely rude and barely spoke as we asked to pay. Then when asked to give tip to a tech that went into the back room – she ignored the first request and walked away, then told my friend to give the tip herself and finally agreed to take it. Might as well stop working or sell the salon if you are that miserable providing customer service.

I booked an appt for a gel color application. The technician did a quick job. the color selection is limited and the color I picked, they couldn’t find. I did not receive a typical “manicure” but was charges $30, when the site I booked on said it would be $25. My typical salon a full manicure is $30. For price and color selection, I probably won’t return.

I went to Luxotic yesterday for the first time. I was a little nervous because not only was it my first time at this salon, but it was my first time getting dip powder nails as well. But it turns out I had nothing to be nervous about – the nail salon is clean, comfortable and nicely decorated and all the staff were very friendly. Vanessa did my nails and she did an AMAZING job. I think I found my new place to get my nails done in Mansfield, and I love the dip!
