With this being my 1st real facial I didn’t know what to expect. Paula made me feel comfortable and she worked a miracle with my skin. My skin felt like it had a breath of fresh air. Critical: ValueI am a new customer to Luxe Skin Spa. I read reviews carefully before booking Paula at Luxe Skin Spa for my facial. Overall, Paula’s experience on skin is nothing for me to complain. However, what made me unhappy toward her is her inconsideration attitude.After the Chemical peel facial, I added eyebrows waxing and Paula ripped off my skin during wax. I felt sore and I did notice that my eyebrows red but Paula did not say anything to me at that moment. Let me ask you Paula is an aesthetician; she should know she ripped of my skin right? Even though she did not know during waxing, but when she applied sunscreen on my face or looked at me when I paid. She should know my eyebrows red/swollen. Those areas were noticeably and more painful after I left her salon.I sent Paula the pictures and texted her nicely that “I just want to let you know that my eyebrows ripped off during wax”. She texted me back with the instruction to take care, she just said “sorry” to me and excused that since my hairs were not removed after hard wax, she had to use soft wax. I did not feel any consideration or any sincere apology on those messages she sent me. Not mentioning that she wasn’t happy that I canceled those upcoming appointments with her.Those skin areas ripped off were hurt so badly. Four days later, she texted to check on me about my facial and eyebrows. I did mention to her those are still sore but better than last 2 days, I have to apply Neosporin. I did say “Thank you for checking on me”. She read my messages and did not say anything. I understand there are nothing to say now between her and me. But it took me 4 days to realize that this lady so inconsideration and uncaring. I did not feel any sympathy or sincere apology from her.People will think that I made a big deal just the eyebrows. But no, I was very nice to Paula at the beginning from the time I entered to her room, paid her, left the salon, texted her about my eyebrows. I was very easy and did not give her any hard time at all. BUT her inconsideration and uncaring very bothered me and I have to make this review. Like people said “Don’t trust the book by the cover”.
