Founded in 2008, LUXE was born from owner Ana’s passion for the fashion and beauty industry. The vision was simple, offer world class salon and spa services in an upbeat modern atmosphere, while respecting our environment. The concept was a hit, and LUXE was fast on it’s way to making waves in the Lancaster beauty industry. After two exciting years, LUXE was outgrowing the original 2400 square foot space located in the historic Slaymaker Lock Factory. When additional space became available adjacent to the existing salon, Ana jumped at it. By adding close to 2600 square feet of ultimate spa space, and more than doubling in size, LUXE was now poised to command the Lancaster health and beauty market.

My overall experience at Luxe has been decent. However I would say haircut-wise it really depends on the stylist. I used to book one of the top hair stylist, she did a great job but at the same time even she would not always follow what I asked for. One time I also booked a new stylist. While not as skilled as the other one I had, I felt the end result was okay. Recently, I called in to make another appointment and talked to Erica. She gave me an attitude which was very unusual since normally the front desk people are very professional and friendly. Not what you would expect from a top rated salon.

Not super thrilled with my blonde. I’m stripey. I couldn’t tell in the salon since it’s darker there but as soon as I got home I could tell. I’ve been getting my hair blonde for 13 years and never had an issue with my roots being brunette. I let them grow out for months as I don’t like processing my hair every 6-8 weeks. I never had an issue with prior salons. They were always able to get my roots covered and blended well. I figured I’d try a new salon since you have excellent reviews. But I’m not impressed and I don’t love it.

I’m new to the area and have never had my hair done at a salon in my adult life and I knew it was time for a change. I was super nervous going in but Dasha did a fantastic job at making me feel comfortable, and gave me exactly what I asked for in my haircut. Talk about a confidence boost! Amazing, Amazing, AMAZING! Hunter is such an fantastic stylist. I’ve been going to Luxe & seeing Hunter specifically for several years now and I can tell you that she is beyond talented. I totally trust her recommendations. I’m sure all of the other stylists are just as talented but there is absolutely no way I’d go to anyway else but her. I look forward to my hair appointments at Luxe. I always leave looking amazing & feeling so relaxed/refreshed. If you’re thinking about going, just do it! Kelsey did an excellent job as always. I told her what I would like for hair color and then realize while she was drying my hair that I wasn’t crazy about it. My fault, she did exactly what I asked. She corrected and stayed way longer because of me and it turned out great. She knew exactly what to do with it and I am happy. Thanks again Kelsey!

I am a new client. This was my first appointment with Luxe Salon and Hunter as my stylist and had a great experience. I am happy with the color and cut that I received! When I first arrived i was greeted by the receptionist who offered me a drink and made me feel welcomed. With no wait i was greeted by Hunter. Hunter took the time to discuss the look I was wanting to achieve and the health of my hair. She gave me pointers on keeping my hair healthy, suggested products, heat tools that will be less damaging, and how to prepare my hair for elements during vacation and hair prep for my next appointment. Checking in on me while my hair processed and asking if i needed anything to drink. It has been a tough year searching for a GOOD stylist who knows color well, hair health, product and tips. There is no attitude at this salon. It is a little upscale but everyone is extremely kind and welcoming. My hairstylist Kelsie is awesome.
