First time Luxe customer, and the experience was great. I went in with a beautiful dip set done just about a week ago elsewhere that was just too long to function. Rather than remove them completely and get gel on my nail, Angela suggested trimming them down and getting fill—which was so much better! My prior dip was very thick, and with the shorter nail, Angela shaved it down to look much more natural, which I appreciated. And I absolutely LOVE the dark plumy-maroon no chip color. She made sure it was as opaque as I’d wanted and took care of my cuticles, too. Furthermore, she was super nice! I always appreciate a salon that makes you feel welcome. Will be coming back!

Very frustrated! I’ve been getting the same color “Let’s Be Friends” for years and I even went on a beach vacation with this color, and they did not discolor. The owner said it’s something I’m doing, but this has never happened to me before. I haven’t even swam, did a spray or anything out of the ordinary for them to discolor this much. I would never go back because I basically was blamed and it’s the second time in the same month!

I went to get a dip manicure with a French ombré. I was surprised that my nail tech wanted to dip both my hands in acetone when many salons do the tin foil method on each finger. My hands were so cracked that I asked to wash it several times, it wasn’t coming off at home as well then finally after a couple of hrs it came off. The owner was very unhelpful, I had to wait a long time just to have my nails done. As I was being seated, a customer came in asking if her children can get her nails done, and she went to do their nails as I was seated. It was very inconsiderate of my time. Then later when she was doing my nails, she begins to do some paperwork without saying anything. Overall, I am very unhappy with their service/customer service and how very inconsiderate they are.

After having a terrible experience at a different nearby nail salon, Luxe nails really set the bar high. The facility was well staffed and accommodating to my needs. Have only had gel manicures 3 times in this business and first 2 were fine but was disappointed with my last visit. The woman removed my gel polish with acetone on each nail, letting it sit for a few minutes and then removed all with a nail drill. Have never had that item used before and have now found out it’s bad for your nails and one should never allow it to be used. I won’t be going back and am now looking for a new place that removes gel polish with the acetone/foil method.
