I moved to the Richmond metro area in mid-2021 from Northern VA and so I needed a new hairstylist. After trying different shops, I found Tia in the latter half of 2021 and have been going every couple of weeks since!! I feel incredibly blessed to have found her. I showed her a picture of the style I wanted and she matched it and exceeded all my expectations. She also does color very well. Her shop is clean, beautiful, and welcoming. I also like that there is plenty of parking. Finally, Tia has the best personality. I always look forward to my appointments because I am typically laughing the entire time. Thank you, Tia, for everything and please keep it up!!

Positive: Quality, ValueTia has been doing my hair for over 6 years and I am beyond thankful I found her. Her personality is out of this world and you always feel welcome when coming into her salon. Her work is amazing and it speaks for itself. She will never steer you in the wrong direction when it comes to any service she is providing. It’s so hard to find a good stylist who takes the time to care for your hair and who is very honest. A lot of stylist will just do anything you want just for the money knowing that it will damage your hair..but Tia is the complete opposite she only recommends the best when it comes to her clients! Tia has been doing my hair for over 6 years and I am beyond thankful I found her. Her personality is out of this world and you always feel welcome when coming into her salon. Her work is amazing and it speaks for itself. She will never steer you in the wrong direction when it comes to any service she is providing. Tia is nice and has a nice salon, but the problem is the professionalism. If you schedule your appointment in advance you would expect the courtesy of being notified early that there needs to be an adjustment to the appointment time, not the night before. You would also expect there to be an ask of whether changing the time works with your schedule rather than told. The consideration for client’s time just isn’t there. The care of hair is also not to the level you would expect. Unfortunate.

I’ve been to Ms. Tia many times and i’m never disappointed! I’m real finicky with who touches my hair, as I’ve been natural for many years & just want it to flourish. She’s absolutely amazing & the prices are very reasonable.

literally paid her 2000 dollars for extensions and to fix my hair and she blocked me when i asked for her to take them out.. on top of that she absolutely destroyed my hair and it’s all falling out. extremely unprofessional, changing times last minute, charging me for things she never mentioned, and the extensions weren’t even done right!! they kept falling out.
