LUXE LAB studio is amazing! I was able to book a next day appointment with Emily, and I have to say she may be the fastest and most efficient hair stylist I’ve ever met. I asked for a very specific color and style , and she did wonderful. She’s so talented that she knew exactly what I wanted without me even describing it much. A special nod to the very sweet lady that washed and massaged my hair (I am so sorry, I did not catch your name!) The studio was chic and adorable. I highly recommend this business. Thanks ladies!

Excellent service and so nice! I got my hair colored and didn’t love it at first, my inspiration pictures were too ambitious and I didn’t realize until after my color was completed. Emily asked me to come in the next morning and she fixed it for me, no charge. She was so nice about it and helped me understand my options and what to ask for next time. Love what we ended up with and highly recommend!

For $430, I really didn’t feel it was worth it. I didn’t realize until I got home that I had visible lines on my head from a balayage/highlights. The wash and cut were great and up to my expectations, but I wont be returning for color services.

Arielle is amazing. I’m going gray and needed some guidance. We tried “working with the gray” first, as I requested. But soon, I realized it was not the look I wanted. . She came up with a plan, and I couldn’t be happier! The salon is constantly educating their stylists. The customers, like me, truly benefit from it! Also, did I mention there is ZERO pressure when it comes to purchasing products, and scheduling appointments. Highly recommend! A+ experience and A+ staff

Hands down the best highlights I have ever gotten. Xiomara is a master at what she does! I gave her a vague idea of what I wanted, and she showed me a picture/video of what she had in mind. I trusted her vision (after reading all the positive reviews I knew I was in good hands), and I am so happy I did. The highlights are beautifully multi-dimensional and the color pops just right. She took extra time to make sure everything was just right, which I really appreciated. I’ll be back in 12 weeks for a partial!

I visited this salon for the first time because of all the positive reviews I read online. The salon was cute and everyone was pleasant. I can’t recall the name of the stylist I saw but I was informed she was fairly new (admittedly, I made a last minute appointment so I did not get to choose my stylist). I went in for a root touchup and hair trim (about 2 inches off). I had planned to go into work one hour late allowing myself 2 hours for these processes. I was there for over 4.5 hours for something that usually takes under 2. I missed the full day at work. She did do a great job on the haircut and was very nice, it just took far too long and I feel that a more senior member of the team should have jumped in and offered help or maybe at least apologized when I was checking out because I know they were aware.

Was excited to try this salon, but my stylist Emily was extremely quick with me. She made no effort to chat or ask me if I was comfortable. She was also rough with my hair when washing. Part of a salon experience is having a friendly stylist, and that was not the case here. Also, the shirt I wore to the appointment was ruined with dye stains. Overall not a pleasant experience.

I had such a positive experience at Luxe Lab this morning. I had just gotten my hair cut last week at a different salon (in Davis Sq), and my hair did not turn out how I wanted at all. I tried to go back to the Davis Sq hair salon to get it fixed, but they blamed me for the haircut and were unwilling to fit me into their schedule. I ended up booking with Arielle at Luxe Lab instead, and I am SO happy I did. First of all, the salon is beautiful, clean, and has such a nice vibe. But more importantly, I felt that Arielle really listened to what I wanted and talked me through the hairstyle. She just got exactly what I was going for. I showed her the same photos as I did to the stylist in Davis Sq, but this time I ended up with exactly what I wanted! I was nervous about getting my hair fixed, but it was the best decision. Arielle has excellent attention to detail; my haircut is quite precise and it looks fantastic from every angle. You can just tell she’s really talented. She has renewed my faith in haircuts, quite frankly. I will be coming back to Luxe Lab for my future haircuts!! Thank you, Arielle!

UPDATE: the owner of the store called right after seeing my review below. She was so apologetic and felt so bad of what happened. She got me in immediately and fixed what she could with the hair. It still isn’t perfect but 80 percent better than before. Totally understand mistakes happens but commend the way they handled the mistake. I would go back but would only go back for her or her co-partner who knows what she is doing with blondes. Overall I am changing my review due to their customer service and ability to take ownership and try and make a bad situation better. That goes a long way in my book.

Arielle has saved my hair!! Transitioning from a bleach blonde of 15 years to a natural brown. She has trimmed and glossed my hair every other month while my natural color grows out. After cutting the final blonde off she added the most amazing dimension to give my hair life. I wasn’t able to explain what I wanted but she was able to walk me through it with pictures and swatches to bring my poor explanation to life and it looks amazing!! The salon is beautiful and clean. Every stylist has clients leaving beaming with joy. 100% recommend
