The individual attention, care and pampering I receive here are some of the many reasons why I come to Luxe and are unlike any other experience that I had elsewhere.I receive color/bayalage from Alishia and cut/style from Marybeth. Alishia is an artist and truly gifted with her hair coloring/painting ability! I love that they take before, during, and after pictures of my hair! The pictures are empowering and let me see the transformation of my hair. Marybeth is extremely talented with the scissors. She always gives my hair more depth with layers to allow for volume and has consistently given me the best haircuts of my life. My hair feels and looks so healthy after my visit and lasts a very long time. The scalp massage during the wash is my absolute favorite, any tension that I feel is immediately released from my body. I live in the city and have very hard water so I always ask for the hard water treatment where you can smell the minerals/metals coming off of my hair! It leaves my hair absolutely smooth and I recommend this application to anyone with hard water.When COVID started, my appointment had to be cancelled and once the salons received the clearance to open, I received a call where the staff were accommodating each customer based on the cancellation date. I currently work in healthcare and I was nervous to go into the facility with risk that I could bring the virus home to my patients and family. The salon uses every precaution and because of the intimated boutique environment you are one of the only clients there. The salon is sanitized after each client and you are met at the front door for hand sanitizer and temperature checks. I hadn’t dyed my hair since high school (with some bad box dye jobs) and had been thinking about getting balayage for months but was nervous it wouldn’t turn out. I finally decided to do it and booked an appointment with Jess and could not be more thrilled with the results. This is the best hair color I could have ever expected!! I kept looking at the after pics in disbelief that it was me and not a Pinterest model. It is seriously the best hair color for me! Jess was very attentive and eased any concerns I had about getting my hair colored after such a long time. She even taught me how to get the perfect waved look, it was great 1:1 attention!
