dont waste your money, i got a bad service done and they charged me so much! my nails don’t even match some are short and some long. i expressed that i wanted them to match and be even but they didnt speak or understood english. but when i go to pay its $88 i will never go there again. dont waste your time or money. I’m so sad and disappointed after reading all of the negative reviews for Lux Spa and Nail Salon. 🙁 I just want to make sure everyone is aware that there is a SIMILAR named nail salon in Irving, TX called “Lux Nails Spa & Salon.” My experience at “Lux Spa AND Nail Salon” at 8701 Cypress Waters Blvd. Suite #120 Irving, TX has always been exquisite. Anytime I’ve had a nail service I’ve always received top-notch service and professionalism. Please make sure you check the business details ( name and address) BEFORE you post your review to make sure it’s accurate for the correct place. I personally have been going to Lux Spa and Nail Salon since they opened and Tommy is simply THE BEST at doing nails. Yes, they are little more pricey than most nail salons but you get what you pay for! In the 5 years I’ve been a customer, I have never left disappointed or had anything but compliments on how great my nails look. I’m always on Pinterest looking at my next design or color and Tommy nails it, (no pun intended;) every time. Tommy and Holly are always fair and professional! If there is ever a concern about price, ask up front! Since I now live in Washington D.C. I don’t see them as often, but I always stop in for nail service when I’m in town.

First time coming and glad we found Lux Spa. The place is beautifully decorated and maintained. The staff was pleasant and even offered us complimentary drinks. Only downfall was we had an appointment for 4 but only two got seen in a timely manner. Overall, the pedicure I recieved and manicure came out very well.

Oh my! Don’t bother setting an appointment. Just know, they’re setting the same appointment for multiple people. Once it’s your turn, they’ll start rushing just to be able to get through to everyone who comes in. They’ve favorites, so if you’re not a regular you’re out of luck. Anyway, my nail turned out hideous. I’m not the confrontational type so I left it as is and even left a tip. Although I left almost in tears for what I paid, and for what I received. Just sad! I won’t be back again!

Six week later I decided to remove my nail polish and discovered a toenail fungus. I immediately saw my physician and he told me that I most likely picked it up at the nail salon. I called Holly (performed by pedicure) at Lux Spa and Nails and informed her of the diagnosis and requested a reimbursement for my medication ($65), my pedicure (40). I also incurred a dr. visit fee, which I am waiting on the EOB to determine the final cost. Holly refused my offer and put her husband on the phone. He told me that he had medication that I can pick-up, which I felt was inappropriate, because he is not a physician.
