Positive: Communication, Professionalism, QualityI’ve been a client with Lux Spa since the beginning (literally the day after they opened). I’ve been able to see all the changes and different services offered. I’ve never had a bad experience and I have utilized the numerous services offered. The atmosphere is amazing, service is amazing, staff is awesome, and the list just goes on and on. I’ve had the pleasure of watching a local business grow and continue to do great things for the community. Not only do I recommend this business, but if you need instant relaxation, just walk in and sit in the lobby (automatics relaxation). The therapist are very knowledgeable and they have always gone above and beyond with the service. The owners are top notch, extremely friendly, will answer all questions and follow up with you. I’ve been a client with Lux Spa since the beginning (literally the day after they opened). I’ve been able to see all the changes and different services offered. I’ve never had a bad experience and I have utilized the numerous services offered. The atmosphere is amazing, service is amazing, staff is awesome, and the list just goes on and on. Critical: Communication, ProfessionalismI’ve been to Lux a hand full of times over the past few years and had good and bad experiences. Unfortunately my most recent experience was not the best. I was shorted by 20 minutes on a 60 minute facial that I had paid for prior. The esthetician did not know what facial what I was getting, so she had to step out of the room to go find out. That took away some time. The esthetician also played her own relaxation music on her phone, which was right by my ear. There was already spa music in the background, so I am not sure why she had her own “spa” music on. Also, if you want to get a foot detox, do not go here. They sit you in the front where everyone is walking in and out and they are scheduling appointments AND put your feet in cold water. It was not relaxing at all. Definitely not a MED SPA experience. I reached out to the owner, who was not there when I had my appointment. She minimized what I was telling her and had excuses for everything, stating that particular esthetician was always very good about timing. Well mam, that day she was not…it was like she wasn’t hearing me at all. She told me “She didn’t know what I wanted her to do about it, and she guessed she could throw in some hot stones next time I come.”I just said okay, but I do not plan on going back after my recent experience. I’ve been to Lux a hand full of times over the past few years and had good and bad experiences. Unfortunately my most recent experience was not the best.
