Had a much better experience!! Came back for a redo since I had a bad experience last time. The stylist that took care of me was Ryan with the help of Maggie and they were great! Ryan was so nice and actually took the time to explain to me all the details of my hair and the process leading to what I wanted to achieve. It was very clear that she took a lot of pride in her work and knew what she was doing. Her attitude was so nice and a great way to start my day. Maggie helped her out and she was very nice as well even when they had other clients in, I never felted rushed and they made sure I was satisfied with my hair before I left. I am in love with the results that came out and I am definitely coming back again. Every person I had an encounter with was very polite and took great care of me.

I have gotten my hair cut by Maggie and my 9 year old daughter as well and we cannot say enough good things. She is so sweet and really takes her time and makes sure it’s perfect. She’s easy to talk to and does really nice work. She was also absolutely amazing with my shy little one. Everyone in the salon is so sweet and it’s really a great atmosphere. If you’re looking for a new stylist, I would definitely check this place out!

Michelle gave me the perfect cut and red hair color after I had a bad experience at another salon last year. I’ve been seeing her ever since, and she always has the best suggestions for tweaking my color if I want to go lighter or darker. I get compliments on my hair color every single time I leave the house now! She’s also meticulous when she cuts my hair and makes sure I like it from every single angle before I leave the salon. I’ve never had a hairstylist as thorough and as fun to work with as Michelle!

I had some miscommunication with Lux regarding the services I was hoping for. Ryan did her best to communicate what they could do, it’s very clear she wants her clients to be satisfied. Although they didn’t have time for the color treatment I wanted, she did a great cut. I was very impressed that the salon manager followed up with me after my visit.

Great customer service walking in and walking out Huge shout out to Kaitlyn—such a sweet gal and she does wonders with my hair every time. I have always bounced from salon to salon because my previous stylists over the years have not cut my hair like Kaitlyn does. She trims my layers and face framing so beautifully! I have never felt confident with my hair until I found LUX last year. ♥️

From the moment I walked in and was hit with the smell of unclean restrooms, I should have walked right back out. The salon looks like the last time money was spent on it was 1983, it’s dusty and in dire need of an update. Today I spent over $550 to get my hair colour corrected. Nate told me he owned his own salon, so I foolishly thought my hair was in safe hands, how wrong I was. He was rushed, curt and uninterested, conversation was so difficult and the whole experience to the final walk out still with wet hair after his blow out just summed it up. If you want a professional, pleasant experience and are not keen to spend a fortune to get your hair corrected avoid Lux Tacoma.
