Critical: Professionalism, ValueI went to this salon with my daughter (9) she got a pedicure and a manicure this was 60.00. I believe that they charge people differently depending on the day. I have never paid that much for her to get a child’s mani and pedi. Also it took forever and the salon was not busy We were there for almost 3 hours! I’m convinced only one person actually knows what they are doing. My nails are uneven and I feel like I’ll need a fill next week he didn’t get close enough to my cuticles as you can see in the photo. There are bugs all around the salon and my nail techs nails were dirty. I went to this salon with my daughter (9) she got a pedicure and a manicure this was 60.00. I believe that they charge people differently depending on the day. I have never paid that much for her to get a child’s mani and pedi. Also it took forever and the salon was not busy We were there for almost 3 hours! Critical: ProfessionalismI went for my first time at this salon for a new set of acrylics. Upon entering I was asked to wash my hands, however, the man who requested had been smoking a cigarette and immediately sat down in the chair to do my nails without ALSO washing his hands. At that point, I politely asked him to wash his hands as well before touching mine, so he proceeded to walk over to the sink and PRETEND to wash them as I watched. This would’ve been easier to ignore had there not been flies around the salon from having the doors open (no AC). Now concerned about their hygiene, I looked down at the manicurist’s hands to see he had long fingernails that either were jagged or had dirt underneath. This was not a good feeling as my service was just beginning, but I tried not to judge and continue on anyway. Upon completion, I realize the coffin shape I asked for varied in shape (uneven/lobsided) on each nail; My cuticles had not been touched and the nail beds were not cleaned up in general. Upon entering I was asked to wash my hands, however, the man who requested had been smoking a cigarette and immediately sat down in the chair to do my nails without ALSO washing his hands.
