My daughter goes here all the time, today was my first time. I will definitely be back. Mani and pedi both felt wonderful and my nails look so pretty! They were all so nice! I took both my daughters today for a nice mommy daughter day and it was soooo worth it, we were all so happy with our nails and our pampering! The pictures don’t do them justice really. Thanks y’all

This place is amazing! I got my wedding nails and toes done from these guys. It was my first time here and I do not regret it. They do amazing work and the price is unbeatable! I got the deluxe pedi and a full set acrylic both with designs and gel polish with a great tip included I spent less then $80 here. There is the typical wait time during busier hours. They do appointments too! A large range of polish choices, colored acrylic and a nicely put together display of nail art designs as well. The atmosphere is great and its nicely clean and organized. For sure going to be my go to nail shop.

At first my nails were breaking within hours of having them done and then Nina started doing them and that quit. I was pretty content until the last time I went in and I presented a picture like I usually do but this time the result was not great. I messaged her about fixing it and she said she could fix the lumps in my nails but if I wanted them longer I would have to pay more than the 50$ I already had. I told her I would just have to pay to have them redone somewhere else. So I guess I know now not to go back. Here’s a pic of what I was hoping to get(I wasn’t expecting perfection either) and then next to it is what I got. Short, lumpy, thick, uneven nails that are more pointy than the wide coffin or tapered square I wanted.

I came in 20 minutes before they closed with missing dip powder nail and they got me in even though they were busy! They did a great job fixing it and were so nice! My regular place who did the set turned me away, so glad Lux nails could accommodate me! Dip powder

The first time I went in December to get my nails done at this place I thought it was great. The treatment of the people was very nice. When I came back on May 4, 2022, the girl who did my pedicure was so fast that she even forgot to apply the lotion and massage. I felt when she cut one of my toenails too short and now it is swollen, red and I limp when I walk. Also, after waiting more than an hour to get my gel polish done, I had to wait for the technician who instead of doing my nails got up and went to smoke. when he came back he smelled a lot of cigarette and was not painting the edges of the nail when I told him he became very rude and started talking in his native language and sent another lady to finish. Now when I call to speak to the owner I am told she is not in. All I can say is be careful when you go to this place. They are not professional at all.

I made an appointment to come here. I heard they do good service and read the google reviews. I was disappointed when I got there and first was completely ignored. Then when she came to me she said give me a minute. Then sat for 35 minutes more and still was not seen. If they do good service they need to work on their time frames or don’t take appointment they can’t keep.

I’ve been going to Lux Nails for a few years now and I refuse to go anywhere else! They make me feel welcome and the the best service! I always leave with my nails looking great. Also, Lux Nails has always supported our local schools. That means alot to someone with 3 kids in the Hueytown school system. 100% would recommend!
