Well, I came back after a year… my pedicure was great. Very relaxing. However, when it came time for my Mani, it was a wreck. I showed the photo of what I wanted. She shaped my nails into stilettos, I asked her to round them out more… they ended up uneven. I had to ask her a few times to correct things..that didn’t get done. Then she started to paint, and I just couldn’t even say anything anymore because I was so baffled. I paid $122, plus an $8 tip. My manicure alone was $70! I got home and reeeallly checked my nails in detail and OH MY GOSH if I would’ve seen it all before hand there is no way I would’ve paid for this. I’m sick about it. The acrylic doesn’t cover my nails, it’s EXTREMELY thick and bumpy. Worst manicure I’ve ever had. Not to mention they’re all different sizes. I’m a very kind person, so I paid my bill and left. I will not be back, ever.

I went to Star Nails for a a manicure and pedicure with my daughter and a friend before my daughter’s wedding. We had appointments, the friend did not. We were escorted immediately to 3 pedicure chairs. My daughter and I got our pedicures while the friend was soaking her feet in the whirlpool. The service was fast and thorough, although the tech’s did not massage the bottom of our feet, just legs and top of feet. The gel pedicure was quick and well done and has lasted the whole wedding weekend with no issues.

It sucks I have to leave a negative review because the girl that did my nails was a sweetheart. I asked for simple matte black nails with an ombre accent nail. Much like every single time I’ve been here I left with uneven, crooked, lined nails. The ombre on the nail ended up messy and clumped. It’s impossible to find a good nail salon in the area so I figured I’d give them one more try, only to be disappointed again.

My pedicure was nice. They didn’t put a clear coat on??? Never had that happen. I also asked before I got a full set if it was extra money for I little longer nails. I was told no. Then I got charged $60 for my pedicure and full set. They charged $5 extra when I was told no extra charge. The lady who said no charge ignored the guy who did my nails. And the guy who did them didn’t know anything about if french being included on first set. I wanted Halo cat eyes and asked if there was an extra charge he said no. Then just before he paints them tells me it’s going to cost me $5 extra because of my length. Then he sends me to dry my nails and after 25 mins of not drying I asked if it was the polish he said no but then stripped my nails of the old color and painted them with a different color. After about 7 mins he told me my nails were dry and as soon as I picked up my keys there goes my polish. So being I’m out by Morrison I now I have to drive back to Dixon. I’m not happy. I was over charged and the guy didn’t know what he was doing. They used to do good work but it’s a far travel since Jason is gone. Also went back and one lady fixed them, but a nail that broke the day after I got the done made it crooked, told me she was going to do gel and in less than a week my nail polish was peeling. I will not ever go back.

the guy that did my toes I believe was new to the pedicure job…ripples across my toes and my no chip manicure was not cured enough by their UV lights.. for $57 plus tip ($60) it looked like a hot mess …of course I was leaving on vacation at 4am the next morning so I was unable to get this corrected

I came and got a gel fill. Within 24 hours, 3 nails broke and 2 nails had chipped polish. The whole manicure felt rushed and as if I was annoying the technician. I left work early to make it to the salon before they closed. They were already closed at 7pm when I arrived. I had even called and said I was leaving work early to make it there before they closed. I am furious. Not only are their manicures garbage but so is there customer service. I DO NOT RECOMMEND
