I took my young daughter here to get her first set of acrylic nails. She is young and did not enjoy sitting still for that long, Miss Cathy was great and working with her and talking her through the process. That was the reason that I even gave three stars for the rating. However, my nails were left rough, the polish is not even and I can still see my regular nails. She did not paint all the way down my nail bed so I will have to have them re-done a week sooner than usual. And on top of that, it was $195 for what we had done! And then she got an attitude when I asked for my five dollars in change. I could totally understand paying that much if the shop was newer and if they had all of the latest options. They did not, and many of the polish colors were dried out.

I am so happy that I found Lux Nails & Spa. The husband and wife team are both knowledgeable, kind and hardworking. Cathy and Chris do take walk ins, however, I recommend that you schedule an appointment. I was a walk in but just lucked out. I had a Gel pedicure and was extra satisfied. The salon looked very clean and both owners were wearing masks and so were the customers. They are located in a small shopping center with convenient parking.

Your “nail shop only” Parking sign is only a request. You come off like a fool when you come out yelling at people for parking in it. If the lot is full it’s fair game.

Staff is super friendly! My husband and I made an appointment, though due to some scheduling error we had to wait longer than expected. They did a thorough job and made us feel welcome. They did thank us profusely for being patient. Good quality for the price and very clean place! We watched them sanitize our chairs and everything well.

I needed my nails done while we vacationed in Myrtle Beach, went here on 6/8/20, absolutely my favorite nail place I’ve ever been to. I got a pedicure and French tip manicure. Both look amazing, when she was doing my manicure, she was so careful and made my nails look absolutely perfect.
