Several of my bridesmaids and mom barely wear any makeup and they were worried about how getting professional makeup would look, but the Lux team listened empathetically and created natural looks that just enhanced their natural beauty and made them feel really comfortable. This is NOT a salon where you are “just another customer”. The difference is the owner, Francine. She cares deeply for her business, employees and customers in the most admirable way. She is an excellent colorist and stylist with an extremely polite, engaging, and fair manner. I applaud Lux Salon for how well it has maintained excellent customer care throughout the pandemic. My wife and daughters frequent this salon.. well should say did bc all three of them wont be going back.. place is nice staff is friendly but end result of their last visit horrible. Especially my poor wife who went in to get a cut and balayage(not first time she has gotten this at this place). Long story short sat for a long session hair color turned out RED! at the shop. The stylist tried to fix it by highlighting? Then color came out super blond and way to high on her head, not what was wanted. And her money piece goes up the center of her head 4” not at all how she wanted it should have been just a small amount in front as normal. She says she looks like a skunk! Im sorry but have to agree. Sat in the chair for over six hours total including the botched fix. Daughters hair cut was good color not at all what she asked for looks orange (like cheap store brand job) and no she didnt have it colored before. Six hours of sitting $800 total for both and both look like they had some type of weird self done job!! Both had also came with references photos and a pics of their hair done last time few months before… should have know when their instagram page took down huge amount of their photos.. some talented stylist must have left.

Critical: PunctualityMy daughter had an hair appointment. An hour before the appointment they called an changed to an hour later. We have a long drive so we were on our way anyway, not a big deal. We could do later. The woman who called was very rude for no reason. 10 min before our time that was changed the rude woman called again and canceled. She was not apologetic so whatever, had no interest to find another appointment. We will never make an appointment there again.
