This was my first time visiting Lux Salon and I was very pleased with the work Lexi did. My hair felt lighter and healthier after the trim. The only knock that I will say is that they asked me if I had a budget prior to giving me a price. Then the price of course was on the higher side of my budget. I’ve not been to a salon in a while so maybe this is a new practice I’m not aware of.

Overall the service and the process of booking was quite easy and the owner is helpful. The reason I’m giving 2 stars is because the application and hair were not that great for the price I paid. I had beads sliding off my hair after a week of wearing it. There was thread in between the hair so when I added heat it would melt off. The hair also looks like it hadn’t been dyed properly with brown stands showing in between the jet black hair. It’s been 3 weeks and I had to remove them because the wefts were coming undone. Really had higher hopes but it didn’t work out. (Pictured is how one of the wefts was installed in my hair. A piece was left hanging).

Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueOk .. I LOVE MY HAIR!!!!! I came in Monday September 13th with 26 inch clip in extensions and my hair stylist, the owner of the salon, took the clips off for me so we could have them ready for her once my actual hair was finished. She first started with my blonde correction, and then finished with a shadow root .. which looked amazing! Both her and her assistant did an amazing job bleaching my hair and really getting all the brassiness out. They were even able to lighten my roots completely. They did not stop until it was ready to go platinum! Afterwards, they put a protein masque on my hair (I think that’s what it was haha). I feel like that really helped. I’ll definitely probably need that again in the future. After that, they started the process of drying my hair and getting it ready for the hand tied extensions .. which went so much quicker than I thought it would! She is a pro at what she does! She color matched my extensions to EXACTLY the color of my hair! Once the extensions were in, which took probably way less than 30 mins, she straightened it and it was just flawless! She finished with a haircut and layered it with the extensions to blend it with my real hair. I’ve gotten nonstop compliments. The best part is the ladies were really sweet, I don’t really talk too much and I feel like these ladies give you the perfect amount of space by really concentrating on the hair. They’re funny, professional, and really knowledgeable. The space is super cute! Fun music! There’s not a lot of people surrounding you, I think she keeps it to a minimum. Which is actually refreshing for a salon. Overall, I had an amazing experience and I will be back in 6 weeks to move up my extensions. This is your sign .. BOOK HER!!!! I absolutely LOVE Lexy!! Not only is she a great hairstylist, but she is also such a kind and amazing person to chat with. I’ve been getting my hair done by the owner for about a year. The first two photos are my recent visit. I had went without getting my hair done for 6 months and she was able to color correct my roots and get me to blonde! The last 2 photos are when I had transitioned from blonde to bubble gum pink. I am always satisfied with the services! The salon is not too crowded with people and the assistants are very friendly! I Highly recommend anyone to book an appointment for your hair needs!

Been going to Lex for almost a year now and she has got me from almost virgen hair to my platinum blonde while still having my having my hair long and healthy! Always responds very fast and works with whatever works best for you, I always recommend friends and family and will continue to do so(: (she even gave me a ride to the tire shop after I got my hair done because I had a flat!!! 10000/10 service when it comes to her customers!!)
