Critical: Communication, ProfessionalismI had purchased a membership special she was running for $69 a month. I had only used it once and been paying (drafted) monthly for 6 months or better. Since I never used it I wanted to cancel. So I called on the 2nd day of the month and was told I had to come in and sign some papers between the 1st and 7th of the month to not be charged that month. So I go into the salon on the 5th to cancel come to find out I didnt need to sign anything. They just want to try to convince you to keep the membership. Well I was still charged even though I cancelled between the dates she told me. I can’t comment much on the services due to only visited once. But their business practice needs much improvement. Luv Tan is by far the best tanning salon in Odessa. The rooms are big and the temperature is always comfortable. The owner is super nice and so are all the girls who work there! I love the monthly specials she has and upgrade options. I’m confused on the review made by the person who had contract issues. Business owners aren’t out to screw over their clients because they want your business. If you sign a contract you know what your obligations are. So, it really falls back on you, just saying. If you want a great tanning experience I highly recommend Luv Tan .

Way too expensive for the quality of service and the hours of availability… I’ve tried 4 separate times to set up a membership there and they were closed each time with a handwritten note on the door. For the prices they charge, I was highly disappointed in the atmosphere & customer service. Got my eyelashes done there by Tiera: She spent about an hour & 20 minutes on one eye and about 20-30 minutes on the other eye, they all fell out over night… no refund was given and all the appointments Tiera re-scheduled me to re-do them she canceled on me last minute. She kept canceling because she was going to have to do them for free- She wouldn’t have had to do a free set if she would have done them right in the first place. She never, nor anyone at Luv, apologized for doing such a poor job in the first place nor apologized for constantly canceling on me… Now I understand why they prefer you use their App for everything: their customer service is sh*t.

A 3 month tanning membership contract was signed in January, and we were told that a 30 day notice of cancellation was required. On March 1st, we provided a written, 30 day notice of cancellation to LuvTan, and the girl working at the counter told us she could not take the 30 day notice because if they placed a cancellation in their system, we would be charged a $100 dollar fine for early cancellation, even though we were just providing notice that we wanted to cancel our membership on April 1st. She was very unclear about their policy, and assured me their owner would call and clarify. I never received a call from the owner, but she called back and said we would need to present our notice on April 1st instead. We tried to do so, and were told that we didn’t give a 30 day notice, so we would have to purchase one more month of tanning and would have to come back in on June 1st to ensure that our membership was cancelled. I requested that the owner call me to clarify and hopefully remedy the situation caused by mis-information given to us by her staff, and never heard from her. On June 1st, we once again left a letter of cancellation, and were assured that we would not be charged again. I requested that the owner call and confirm with me since there had been so much confusion and lies told by staff at that point. I never heard from her, called again to speak with her to confirm on June 15th, and my call was never returned. Another months payment was drafted out of our account on July 1st, and yet again, the owner isn’t available and still hasn’t returned my calls.
