This place is a whole vibe. It’s unconventional, I’ll say that! I’ll also say I didn’t know what I was missing until I stepped foot into this salon! The second I walked in, I felt like a part of this hysterical family and culture. It was joyful and awesome. I had great conversations with nearly everyone in the salon. The owner, Leigh is a total boss, ordering this person into that chair, that person into this chair. She seamlessly moves around handling multiple clients at once, each one leaving BOMBSHELL status! She and the color expert went back and forth with color codes (?!) as to how to get me exactly what I wanted. “Let’s do this”, “Well I think we should add that.” “Eh, the sun will fade her, so add in a little of this.” “Yeah you’re right that’s great. Okay thats it.” They didn’t just say eh okay, whatever. They collaborated and I felt like they really cared.

I don’t usually write reviews. I am from out of town.Visiting for my Son’s wedding.Went to Luv-Leigh Salon on Sept.12th to get a consultation on move ups for my extension and full head of highlights. Had the consult with a woman that was not the owner of salon unfortunately forget her name. But the owner was there giving her prices. Was a little higher than the other salons but made an appointment anyway for the 20th of September to have my hair done at 11 a.m. arrive for my appointment 10:45. THIS IS WERE IT REALLY WENT BAD… the girl that was going to do my hair was there. Owner nowhere in sight. She said she was out sick with the flu. Three women in the salon. One head in sink, one with foils, one with color in hair. When I walked in. Girl started yelling are you my 11 can’t do your hair today. Never a phone call. Started yelling very loud About ceiling tile falling in. Someone out sick, mother in the hospital. Asked if she could get me in later in the day. True story.. she said what the f didn’t you hear me mother in the hospital. Leave your name and phone number will call you later. Don’t even count on getting your hair done tomorrow way too busy. Unless you want the girl with the flu to come in and do your hair. Was very hostile. I know we all have bad days. A simple phone call in the morning could have save me from this woman attacking me for no reason. Of course when I left I could never go back there.. no phone call to this day to reschedule my appointment or an apology. 0 Stars. LUCKY for me I want to Avant Girl in Margate. $70 less and Gina did a beautiful job.
