Lush Nails

Critical: QualityThis used to be the nail salon that I raved about. Though their prices were expensive, comparative to surrounding nail salons, it was still the best choice. However, today, they really outdid themselves with poor customer service. I went in there to get a manicure and pedicure, and I didn’t have an appointment. So when they gladly took me, I was appreciative. The young woman who did my manicure and pedicure was polite and nice enough, but she rushed through both services. I ignored the rushed job for the pedicure, because she polished my toes good enough, but my hands were a different story. As you can see by the photos, on my left thumb, the polish is full of air bubbles. The same is true for three other fingers, but not to the extent of my left thumb. When I proceeded to tell the, I’m assuming owner (woman working the welcome counter), she nonchalantly said, “That’s just the top coat.” I then replied, “So when it dries will the bubbles no longer be there?” She then said, “No it’ll be there.” And walks away. Flabbergasted. As I stated before, they are the pricier nail salon in the area, notably for what used to be good work; but the unabashedly disregard for the service that I paid for and generously tipped for, could not even be addressed or willingly fixed.Oh it doesn’t stop there. As I stated previously, I let the pedicure issue go, but I did tell the young lady doing my feet, “Hey, some polish got on my skin. Can you please put another tissue to separate my toes so it doesn’t mess up the pedicure?” The response was met with, acting as though my question was not heard and continuance of the manicure. Again, ignoring the poor quality completed for a service that was not free: I paid for.I am beyond annoyed. I am beyond disappointed. I am never returning here and will begin voicing my displeasure to everyone in the neighboring towns regarding this establishment and why they should look elsewhere and give new and appreciative establishments their business.Services: Manicure, PedicureThis used to be the nail salon that I raved about. This used to be the nail salon that I raved about. Though their prices were expensive, comparative to surrounding nail salons, it was still the best choice. However, today, they really outdid themselves with poor customer service. I went in there to get a manicure and pedicure, and I didn’t have an appointment. Critical: ProfessionalismI’ve been going to Lush Nails for the past year now and every-time I’ve gone my experience gets worse and worse. To start off the customer service is not professional at all and very inconsiderate. Every-time I’ve gone to lush nails, I’ve always paid $80 – $100 including a $20 tip, their work is amazing but their service is very poor and improper. From experience in working in service, my job is to listen to my clients and make them feel comfortable and understood. I don’t feel that AT ALL what when I go to Lush. I’ve had numerous of uncomfortable experiences coming here. Always feeling like I’m being talked about. I called early this morning to make 2 appointments for my sister and I. I spoke to the rep stating I needed to soak off my hard gel extensions and that I wanted powder on my natural nail. I also specifically told her that my sister would be getting Hard Gel Extensions.I show up to my appointment and I noticed there was a confusion on what we had mentioned that we were getting, which is no big deal at all. I sat down with Leah ( I believe that is her name ) I could instantly see her frustration at me and you could tell by her facial expressions, when I clearly mentioned what service I wanted.Misunderstanding happen, but take the time to listen to your customer. Working in the service industry can be difficult but the customers in which come into your business should be treated with compassion and respect.This isn’t to bash Lush Nails at all, they do a great job but the service isn’t worth what I’ve paying.
