Today was my third visit to Lush. My first visit was on a Sunday afternoon with Mary because I couldn’t get an appointment with my normal nail salon. She did a great job so I returned for a fill and pedicure. Note that when I made the appointment I did not ask that each service be done at the same time. When I arrived, I was seated in a pedicure chair and my pedicure was started and my fill a few minutes later. They were done at the same time without me having to request. The young lady that did my pedicure was very sweet and very good. The guy that did my fill, young guy with glasses, was a little all over the place that day but I didn’t pay much attention to it. Today: I called yesterday and made an appointment for a fill and pedicure for Noon. I arrived. Several people without appointments arrived at same time for just pedicures. Young guy with glasses sat me at his table after he asked me three times what I was having done. They proceeded to seat all the other people that had arrived without appointments that just wanted pedicures in the pedicure chairs with the technicians so that left no one available for a pedicure. My fill: while working on my fill, young guy with glasses got up over 10 times to seat additional people that had walked in for pedicures. This left him very distracted which in turn caused me not to get the color I requested plus one of my nails looking like my 7 year old grandson did it. He was all over the place and focused on everything else but my nails. After 45 minutes I asked about the pedicure and he said that was why I was sat at table because I had an appointment so I wouldn’t have to wait on pedicure. I said I made an appointment for a fill and pedicure to be done at the same time. Young guy with glasses told me if I wanted them done at the same time, I had to request it when I made the appointment. I said really because I didn’t two weeks ago. He said no you do. All the technicians were again still busy so I’m not sure who was going to do my pedicure. I told him I did not have another hour or more to stay there. He just shrugged his shoulders and said ok. I will definitely be returning to my tried and true nail salon even if I have to use vacation time to take off work to make an appointment.

I have been going here for awhile now and it’s been pretty good every time I go. I came in for my normal dip and I told the front desk person and the guy doing my nails this. But this time, the guy who was doing my nails ripped the dip off of my nails instead of soaking them like they usually do so I barely had any nail left and basically had to get acrylics because my nails were destroyed. I told him I wanted red nails and he laughed and said what about natural. I said no, I would like red. He did one of my nails as pink and white and asked if I thought it was pretty. I said, yeah, but I would still like red. He kept doing my nails in the same pink and white style, but not taking as much time as the first one so I thought he would paint over it. He finished and asked if they looked good, and at that point I just wanted to leave and left with one nail looking good and the rest sloppy and NOT EVEN THE WAY I WANTED. He still charged me $20 extra than what it usually is, even for just acrylics. Thuygen will literally do what he wants so he charge you more even when you keep telling him what you want.

First, I’ll start with the positives. There are several different color polishes to choose from, the chairs are nice, and the check in system was easy to use. But overall, I was not pleased with my experience. I brought my three daughters to get a sport pedicure ($40/pedicure). They sat down and a man asked my daughters if their hair was real?! As an Asian person speaking to a little black girl, it is VERY offensive to ask a child if her hair is real. I dropped them off and came back to pick them up only to find out that there is an additional $5 charge to remove gel polish (which was less than half left on one of my daughters toes.) This in addition to the comment that was made ensured that I will not return and I will go back to my regular nail shop. I came to this particular shop due to the proximity to my home and I figured I’ve give the shop a try. I would also like to mention that I got a pedicure just a few days ago as well($60.)I would not recommend this place.

Terrible. Would not recommend. One of the men was removing my acrylic nails and removed part of my nail instead. He didn’t stop when I said it hurt. Another guy came to do my manicure and I told him I didn’t want gel because my nail bed stung so bad. He refused to listen and insisted on me getting gel. It burned putting the polish on like I knew it would. He was very pushy and I was very uncomfortable. He then did a lazy job with the polish, flooding my cuticles. I could’ve done a better job. The pedicure was lovely because another nail tech did it. At checkout, they didn’t even offer me a discount for it being my first time in and cutting into my nail bed. The entire experience was awful. So disappointing that I pay all this money to relax and enjoy a day alone and kid-free and end up being miserable the entire time due to carelessness and inconsiderate people. Will NEVER go back.

We moved to the area in April and have been ISO a great nail salon ever since (with not much luck), but I think I’ve found it! Salon is very clean and organized and everyone that worked there was very friendly. Nancy took great care of me for a pedi/dip mani and wax. I will definitely be back! Manicure, Pedicure
