Critical: Professionalism, QualityI came into the salon to do my first classic set of lash extensions. I have been using lashify, but wanted something more permanent. I have sensitive skin and have reacted to strip lash glue before that had Cyanoacrylate in it. After showing the lash artist my sensitive skin from having just had my brows waxed, i asked her about hypoallergenic glue options. Lush language does not carry any products that are hypoallergenic. Tiffany never told me the active ingredients in the adhesive she was using, but advised she’d stop if i was showing signs of a reaction. I decided to trust her given the fact that she is the owner and my friend highly recommended the place. Within minutes, the tape alone was itching and causing redness in the corners of my eyes. During the application process, i did blink a lot, but she continued. The final product looked nice, but hours later the corners of my eyes were still bothering me. I contacted the salon the following afternoon as the inside my my eye was blood shot and my eyelids were very swollen. I advised i’d taken Benadryl and cleaned the lashes and around the eye with solution they provided. I was told i could come in the next morning for removal of the lashes, however, i was in so much pain later in the evening that i removed them at home myself with oil and wipes. When i contacted the salon today, they would not issue a refund after my reaction. I was instead offered an alternative facial treatment. Overall i was very displeased with how the owner handled this situation and i had lashes falling out constantly even after following their instructions. I do not recommend. Save your money and go somewhere professional and safe.
