Such a wonderful salon experience! Neil is a professional with many years of experience and knew exactly what my hair needed. He transformed my dead ends into a cute cut that fit my personality. The salon itself is a welcoming environment so I felt comfortable during my time and Neil and I had great conversation, too! Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience getting my makeup done with my wedding party for my wedding at Starved Rock! From planning the day to actually being there day of, I received the best customer service. Neil made sure we all felt comfortable in his salon and did an amazing job with everyone’s makeup! The bridesmaids’ hair looked incredible and lasted the entire day. Definitely worth the visit.

Neil and Kelly are total rockstars when it comes to their art and also creating a fun and memorable experience. They are incredibly talented and a joy to interact with. It was phenomenal to watch Neil’s creativity and vision with my makeup look unfold before my eyes, and the conversation was so much fun. Kelly was able to take my super vague ideas of what I wanted for my updo and make it even more breathtaking than I had envisioned (and shockingly more comfortable than I thought having 2ft-long hair pinned up all day could ever be)! We all looked like movie stars, and we still looked amazing at the end of the night, even after outdoor pictures in 90 degree heat and hours of dancing. I have never looked or felt more beautiful. LOVE LOVE LOVE this place. They are so welcoming and fun. Amazing job on my hair and makeup for my best friends wedding yesterday. Air brush make up was fantastic and literally lasted me from 10 am to 2 am when it was over. My curls stayed allllll day for a 5 pm wedding and after. My hair is thick so won’t last long unless teased and overloaded with hairspray. They definitely pay attention to detail and make sure you look flawless. Definitely will be coming back!
