Lure Lash

Critical: ProfessionalismDrove from work over an hour away to get a lash lift with tint and happened to have an appointment scheduled at a busy time of the day (rush hour.) There was relatively no close parking to the store and mind you it was my first time in metuchen so I had no idea the parking meters outside the store and the surrounding streets were for only 15-20 minutes maximum. I paid 3 different parking meters thinking I could set them to 2 hours. I called the salon 5 minutes prior to my appointment time and told them that I was having parking problems and they said it was fine. I finally found 1 hour parking 3 blocks from the salon and saw that it was 5 minutes past my appointment time and so I called saying I found parking and was walking to the salon. The receptionist told me this was fine and that I could still come in for my full appointment. I basically RAN to the salon after hanging up. When I got into the salon, I was not even 10 minutes past my appointment time and they told me that I could not have part of my service done because I was too late. This was my first time here and when I called, I was told I was okay. Why didn’t they just tell me this over the phone? I have no idea. That was the whole purpose of me calling them twice to let them know what was happening. The receptionist claims that they will not charge me for canceling because I was actually there but I guess we will see in the next couple days. I could understand if I was someone that was constantly late to my appointments but this was my first time here. I’m honestly just so disappointed because I was really excited to try this place out. Guess it looks like I should have just stuck with my lash stylist I used to see when I had my lash extensions. Drove from work over an hour away to get a lash lift with tint and happened to have an appointment scheduled at a busy time of the day (rush hour.) Critical: Quality, ValueEh it’s okay if you want natural. If you want something sexy or a little dramatic, this isn’t your place or any of their locations for that matter. ( I’ve been to two) I got three diff type of lashes and obviously the prices go up and they all looked the same. Went somewhere else and paid less and got a way better look that stands out! After a week maybe lashes fall off and I’m a lash lover so it’s not me not taking care of them, they just aren’t done great at both locations I’ve been to!Eh it’s okay if you want natural. Eh it’s okay if you want natural. If you want something sexy or a little dramatic, this isn’t your place or any of their locations for that matter. ( I’ve been to two) I got three diff type of lashes and obviously the prices go up and they all looked the same. Went somewhere else and paid less and got a way better look that stands out! After a week maybe lashes fall off and I’m a lash lover so it’s not me not taking care of them, they just aren’t done great at both locations I’ve been to!
