My wife and son visited. The man did exactly what my son asked. The man did a good job. My son told me there was a video being played of some people arguing. On the video there was a bunch of continual vulgar language. My son is 12. My wife told me they turned it off midway into the video and apologized. I sure was happy to hear that because we like to continue business with them.

Never and I mean never get your haircut by their female employee. My son went in for a simple haircut. He came home with a welted neck, cuts all over the back of his neck bleeding and did not like the cut she gave him! He told me it was horrible and she was in no way gentle with the razor she was using. He said she had an attitude with him from the second he walked in the door until he left. Mind you he is a very respectful 16 year old young man. He asked her to texturize his hair and she had zero clue what he was talking about. Terrible experience for him and as his parent I am disgusted with this miserable person’s behavior towards a child. Never again!

Got my haircut here a few time’s by CJ and a few other barbers, and i was satisfied. However this time i got my haircut by a barber named tray and he ruined my hair. They took my payment before the haircut was over, and i gave him a $15 tip which i really regret, he didnt seem to understand what a low taper was and i never had a problem at any other barbers because i get a pretty simple haircut. He left more on the sides than what was supposed to be there and now its poofy on the sides and the top is short. Lmao its all uneven and you can also judge a good haircut on how it grows back and its growing back horrible. I spent $50 for a mediocre haircut.

Recommend by friend that usually uses a certain person but im not sure who. I took my son in for hair cut and hair cuttery did better in the past. Not a good cut for $30. I will stick with a 15 dollar cut at hair cuttery b4 going back there for $30 i could have done the job that was done. Sad cuz ive heard it was a good place. Now i cant afford to even take him elsewhere to try to make it look better i see pics of cuts that look amazing but my sons is jacked up & nothing i can do about it

First let me say lupes is a business that’s been around for 40 plus years first spot that I can remember was across from holy redeemer that many years ago me and my family have been going to lupes that long and since then never disappointed they have 2 locations one on vernor and Clark and Lincoln park on fort it’s a standup business that has talent my guy is KRISPIE my man gots talent as well as every1 else there Lupe dont have rookies cutting only professionals so when u go in here or the other location kno theres experienced barbers that’s y the business has been around 40 plus yerz even my grandfather still comes here hes the one that introduced us grandkids because he used to bring my uncles in back in da day then us grandkids mommy nephews come 8n and one day my grandkids so that should tell ya alot about the standup place lupes is thanks KRISPIE for the yerz of nice clean fades appreciate ya and the biz
