I took my daughter here to get her nails done for homecoming.. The Polish was very uneven and 3 hours later still wasn’t dry. The nail Tech didn’t speak to her the entire time and when I asked if she could possibly have a design she simply said it wont-work with that Polish, it was plain white polish? They did offer to redo her nails -but if we wanted nail art we needed to use gel Polish and there would be an upcharge…. Again if the technician would have spoke to my daughter she would have known from the beginning what she wanted and used the proper Polish. I have always had a good experience here until now…

Luna’s is the best when it comes to a friendly, relaxing, and a clean salon experience I’ve heard a few people mention that’s it’s pricey. Well, I’ve been to several salons throughout the county when I first moved here, 2 years ago, and yes though there are some “cheaper” places, those places also have lower standards and it shows within their quality of products and customer service. Luna’s does take walk-ins, but I highly suggest making an appointment cuz it gets very busy! Also, one more thing…don’t skimp on the Gel manicure versus manicure with regular nail polish especially if you’re in a hurry. #1 it’s beautiful and lasts for a Long Time (my personal experience 1-3 weeks depending on daily activities) #2 You know you’re gonna end up smudging the nail polish shortly after leaving the salon, and when that does happen(not if), the staff will fix the one you messed up, but don’t get mad if they don’t have time to go back and switch it over to all Gel…other people are waiting and/or have appointments too….Just sayin. And to the Luna staff– Keep up the great service!

Will not be coming here again, I brought my sister in to get her nails done, and so my sister tells me upon leaving, that the lady that did her nails was questioning her about the fact that we are two different races and started asking about our parental dynamic… I find that inappropriate. So I call, 20 minutes later.. they tell me that specific lady already left, and the lady proceeds to giggle at me. On top of that, I did not find the environment a welcoming one in the first place.. my sister had only told me what was said upon us leaving and me expressing to her that I felt uncomfortable in there. My sister nails looked good, they did good work BUT customer service matters and we can get good nails else where.

1st time visiting this location. Was greeted right away and seated with in 5 mins of my scheduled appointment. The original technician was very polite and seemed to know what she was doing. My appointment was for 12pm, at about 12:45pm she said she was finished all but polish. I was sent to someone else to finish, due to original technician being “behind on time”. While I sat waiting I started to look at my new full acrylic nails. Realizing one thumb was 1/4 of an inch longer than the other (No joke), along with most other nails being off in length. When the other technician sat down to just polish my nails I asked could she fix my thumb. Even her response was “oh wow”. She not only had to fix the length of most nails, she also had to dremel them all over again and file and buff not to mention polish. She fixed them to the best of her ability being that the base was pretty wonky. My nails, being done now, are passable at a distance. Lots of acrylic on my skin, very thick in general, and just not that polished look that you’d expect for spending 66$ (including tip). I almost didn’t make the post, didnt want to hurt anyone’s feelings but realized thats what they need to improve. Will go back in the future but would only allow Van or Reese to work on my nails. I realize they say in many posts to allow them to fix the issues.. most people don’t want to bother. Specially around the holidays when both they and most shops are very busy. I will go back to have my nails filled by Van or Reese in 2 weeks. Will re-post if things are fixed as this may have been just a fluke from a new technician.
