My sister sometimes comes here to get her hair braided and it’s honestly the BEST!! Every time I go everyone is so nice and considerate, the lady who does my sisters hair she was kind and understanding of her tender head she does amazing with kids and adults hair and I will be going here for my sister’s hair always!! I took my daughter to get her hair braided and they did a really nice job neat and not tight at all…..I had to edit and to this review. I just had twins, but had to take my daughter to get her hair done. I called 4 days in advance to make an appointment. I was told they opened at 8am, we waited til 9:15. When Luna got there she immediately put another guy in a chair eventhough my daughter and I were there first, once she put the guy to get started she then turned to us. Luna made her daughter start my daughter’s hair while Luna herself was taking care of other clients, which was fine but because of the style my daughter wanted Luna had to finish it. When the time came for Luna to finish my daughter’s hair she told daughter to sit and wait so that she could do another lady’s hair. I did not agree as we were already there for 2 hours, I had my 1 month old twins at home and was still breastfeeding. Luna cursed me out and told me I should have bought my twins with me. I will never go back there.

I’ve been here several times to get my hair braided, the owner is the only 1 that i usually get to braid my hair she braids nice, but there’s other females there that can braid as well. The only things that I can say that I dnt care for there is that it’s kinda small in there n outdated. It needs to be updated..

Both my daughter and i got our hair braided. I received box braids. After she finished my hair she was in too much of an hurry to get out that she didn’t want to cut the ends and make it look neat. I notice that my edges were coming out after a few weeks of wearing this hair style. My daughter received crochet braids she braided her hair too tight and after a few weeks my daughter edges started coming out. Their prices is also higher than other places in the area. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!

I used this place to get my daughters hair braided. I was excited because they stated they did washing and styling with braids all other places I called in the area stated need to be washed ready. During the washing my daughter was crying because the detangling was rough, okay during blow drying no cream conditioner detangler just high heat and tears, plus still had lint and residue from prior style. I asked if they could be a bit my gentle they told me do it myself and that they don’t have patience for kids, not sure who this lady was..older. I does the blow dry myself! What am I paying you for? They put so much jam, mousse, spritz my daughter hair was shiny and plastic looking. Never going back here.

If you have a 4C curl pattern, beware. No conditioner or moisturizer was used to comb out my hair. Just sheer ripping at it with a wide-tooth comb and a hair dryer on extremely high heat. Were they fast? Yes. Was it worth it? No. If you have a looser curl pattern, though, they can and will take great care of you.
