Buyer beware. I booked a full color service at this salon when I was looking to go back to my natural hair color. I went to the appointment and told my stylist my intentions and the results were great! I loved my hair. It was so similar to my natural color after being bleached for so long. However the employees continued to book the same service for me over and over again after that first appointment. I kept up w the appointments thinking that my stylist had a plan for me. It wasn’t until I ran into some financial trouble and could not keep up with the expensive appointments that there was a problem. I did not confirm the next appointment and called to let them know as a courtesy that I would not be making It. They charged me $140 for cancelling an appointment that I never confirmed. I was upset by this and tried explaining my situation to the owner. She just told me that I was being aggressive and that I need to respect her cancellation policy. They clearly did not care that I was having a hard time financially or that I was a repeat customer. It really sucked and now I have even more debt. Feels kinda scammy??

Trinh has been my personal hairstylist for four years. Once you let Trinh cut your hair, you will be hooked and you won’t let anyone else touch your hair. She is the absolute best. I had all natural black hair for 4 years. I went in to see Trinnie. After I reviewed all her instagram work was amazing. I wanted someone who can work on Asian hair and not only did she get me blonde in FIVE hours, she didn’t damage or break my hair at ALL! She took her time to foil them evenly. I can’t believe and never had beauticians to knock out the color I wanted in one shot. She did that! I didn’t have to go back to her a few times like other stylist tells me to get the blonde i wanted. Mainly cause they’re afraid to damage my hair. This is the best ombré blonde i ever had. I have been told all my life that my hair is too dark and will never be close to blonde. I was told if I ever even tried I’d fry all the hair off my head so I just never even thought it was possible. But Nicole Smith at Luna Hair changed all that. I was nervous to show her the picture of the hair I desired because it was so light. She was realistic with me and told me we could work towards that but it will not look like that with one session I was okay with this usually I’m told I’m crazy for thinking I’ll get this color. I went in and Nicole was so kind and we chatted so much she gave me tips on how to do my hair better how often to wash etc. Everyone at Luna is so very kind and welcoming you walk in and you feel at home!! I’m one to get antsy when sitting too long and Nicole picked right up on that and offered me a glass of wine which helped!! It was quick and easy I can’t see myself going to any other salon or stylist!!!! Give Luna a try you won’t regret it!!!

I followed my stylist from Currie in Glen Mills to Luna and from the moment I walked in, I felt instantly calm. I was not able to schedule with my stylist in the time frame I needed to have my service, so I saw Madison instead. I wasn’t upset about this because I follow Luna’s instagram and have seen all of the stylists’ work – amazing! I told Madison I needed a change but I was growing my hair out, and pretty much told her to do what she wanted. (I am a hairstylist as well, so I know when someone says that it can be annoying). She KILLED IT with my color and cut. She used the time she had and transformed my “blah” hair (which had been cut incorrectly prior to seeing her) to hair I couldn’t get enough of! The vibe of the salon is positivity and tranquility. Everything was decorated custom to the salon and down to the bathroom, I felt like it was something you’d see Joanna Gaines create on HGTV l. AKA beautiful. Front desk receptionist and stylist assistant were both super friendly and upbeat. I have not one bad thing to say about this salon. I used to feel intimidated when I walked into my previous salon, like people were whispering about you and people just sticking their noses up if I came in in my workout clothes. Luna Hair’s vibe is so peaceful that there is no possible way one could leave the salon without a smile.

First, if you want more honest reviews, go to Yelp. Multiple negative ones as opposed to here. Second, I never take the time to write bad reviews, but Luna hair has treated me poorly numerous times now.

Called and was able to get a same day appointment quickly. While waiting in the lobby, saw that they seemed to specialize in bayalage so I asked about the mini. As someone who had never had color in my hair before I was nervous, but Sami made me feel at ease and answered all my questions! She was absolutely great and the salon was comfortable and beautiful. Definitely one of the most comfortable hair washing chairs too, no neck pain or headache! I can’t wait to come back. (P.S. I am Indian with basically black hair and I think they still did a great job, even though most of the reviews I have seen are for blonde hair, I would give this place a try even if you are brunette!)
