We’re Lumos Nox Salon, and we’ve been a beauty salon here in Naperville, IL, since 2020. We are a laid-back team of artists focused on making our clients look and feel like the rockstars that they are with services such as hair coloring, extensions, and gender-affirming hair styling. We started this business because we wanted to create a unique experience and safe space for the local weirdos and wizards to get their hair done. We’re looking forward to growing our business to continue to serve and partnering with Chicagoland area consumers to expand into a bigger salon and offer different business models for our individual artists’ career paths. We’d like to personally invite you to stop by and try one of our styling services for yourself.

I was drawn to this salon for the Harry Potter references, and it definitely has a cool, dark, millennial atmosphere. The stylists are super nice and friendly. My appointment was with Taylor, and she did an amazing job! She is so patient, and she truly cares about her clients. I really appreciate her meticulous attention to detail. I will definitely be back, and I highly recommend Lumos Nox for your next appointment, too!

Stacia was amazing~ she was able to work her magic and take my boring brown locks (box dyed btw) to a luscious warm blonde/brown balayage and hide my greys :). I was booked at a given confirmed time but when I reached they couldn’t find my appointment. I gave them benefit of doubt and went back, haircut was good but the products they used gave me so much of headache. I believe they said they will offer discount because of inconvenience but they gave me $4 discount.. 🙁 and also mentioned that typically they charge extra for blow outs which I am sure was not the case because I checked initially and haircut included blow dry ($45) , not satisfied
