Critical: Quality2 stars because this is the nail spa that I always come to. The environment is clean, although the polish wall is slightly unorderly. I usually am satisfied with my nails, at least satisfied enough to not go out of my way to leave a review…These nails cost me 70 dollars, my toes cost me 40. I spent 110 dollars for mediocre quality. They started me with my pedicure which was fine up until the point where the person was painting my toe nails. They accidentally smudged the polish and although they noticed it because they were picking at it, they ended up just leaving it. Reference the photo.Within one day my nails started lifting, you can even see in the photos the air under the nails. My hair keeps getting caught under the nail which is extremely annoying. I asked for white tips, and they did clear tips with French paint. Which are different, both appearance and price wise. The paint wasn’t even, and the polish didn’t fully reach the sides of my nails. The photos are about a week grown out.I don’t know if I’m being picky, but I am just not satisfied enough with these nails for how much I paid. I had a gel mani pedi. I had previously gone somewhere else in the area, but a friend suggested Luminous. When I went in my previous gel manicure had grown out nicely and my nails were completely healthy, natural and long. First, they did the pedicure which was fine, but because the person was new it took them a long time to get it done, so they said they didn’t have time to do my manicure. I said I would come back in the morning to get it done but they found a super fast manicurist to do my hands. Instead of soaking off my polish safely, she used the electric grinder to get the all the polish off my nails quickly and used it so much it weakened my nails. She put two coats of polish on, but it needed three because it was still see-through. I asked for a third and was told there was no time. In less than two weeks – I have 5 broken nails and 4 of those are broken so bad, they hurt and are so short. I won’t ever go back there again!!!!

I got an ombre dip with tips from Lisa and she was fantastic. Very sweet and good at her job! She continuously asked at different steps if I was okay with her progress, which made me feel comfortable and she worked so well with me. Not to mention the end product was amazing! I really appreciate her work!

I go here every time to get my nails done. I had an exceptionally good set with Sona on Monday. Today is Wednesday and my thumb chipped. I wasn’t super worried about it I just went back to get it fixed. They fixed it free of charge. Jen was very helpful! I will continue to only go here. Dip powder

She literally made me bleed and didn’t care. It hurt so bad. It wasn’t just one nail, on accident, it was 3 fingers. She had a hay day with the electric file and nicked me several times. She didn’t offer a tissue, didn’t let me clean the blood off of my fingers, nothing. She just continued on and said “oh? Did that hurt?” Then proceeded on. These images are the day after. My fingers hurt so badly. Don’t go to this over priced place. Terrible.

Critical: Professionalism, QualityDO NOT GO HERE !!I went in and showed the nail tech a picture of what i wanted. For reference I asked for the exact same thing but white. I’ll list it below. They were extremely rude. He asked what length I wanted and I just said “Long” he said “eh here is good” and cut my nail. I said “No.. that’s a little short I wanted them longer.” and he said “Longer? that’s gonna be extra.” And I had to pay extra for coffin shape.When my best friend who was with me didn’t have to pay extra for length or shape. My cuticles are flooded the nail tech rushed they were done in 40 minutes and they look awful. Also there is LINT in my nails from his sweater and polish all over my hands. History Buff
My daughter and I have been going to Luminous Nails since it opened. They have great nail technicians and always do a wonderful job. A few weeks ago we had 16 ladies there for mani/pedi’s the day before our daughter’s wedding. Luminous took our reservation and made it a special day. They had decorations, champagne and snacks for all of us. A full team was ready for all of us and we were all finished in ninety minutes! Our nails and toes were beautiful! They give a discount for the bride too. Thank you, Luminous for making our daughter’s wedding prep so fun and special!
