I just visited this nail salon yesterday and went because I had a gift certificate given to me from someone. Upon arrival I was asked what services I wanted and told the lady at the front a full set. Sat for over 30 minutes waiting to be taken in by a technician and the lady at the front looked up and asked if I needed something? I then again said a full set and she said “oh I forgot about you”. She then stuck me with their Spanish nail tech who rushed on putting the acrylic tips on and in the mist of putting my tips on, her client walked in and she said in Spanish to her that she will only be 5 minutes with me and rushed the work on my nails to only get me not even half way through the full set process. Once she put my tips on I was then sent back to the front to sit and wait for another 10-15 minutes with my half completed nails for another tech to complete. In a business of serving the public, telling a client that you forgot about them is unacceptable and rushing work that is being paid for.

I’m so disappointed, because this place used to be awesome. I have been going to Luminous nails off and on for years and it seems the business has been bought out, because my old nail tech is no longer there and it is now owned by a new family. I have wasted money going to this place and will not go again. I had my nails done yesterday and the gel is already chipping. They always do an awesome job on my pedicures, but the male owner, is not very good at doing gel nails at all. I’m not sure what kind of new products they’re using, but my nails have not been lasting long at all and I’m very disappointed in my last two visits. I will no longer pay to have my nails chipped and looking horrible within a matter of a few days. If you want your nails to last long, do not get your manicures here.

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, ValueThis nail place is horrible! I paid 92 dollars for a pedicure and fill ombre, within 4 days my nail broke off and I have 3 other nails coming off from the bottom. I came in TODAY to have them fix it as it should be a priority however the 4 techs sitting in the chairs told me the girl who did my nails needs to fix them the other texts do not want to work on someone else’s work and they tried to give me a gift card to come back told me I can either come back tomorrow, wait until 230 today, or wait until the girl comes in at 11. I told them I will wait for the girl because I’m not going to go pay another nail salon to fix my nail. I do NOT reccomend this place at all! Very unprofessional! The woman is short with dark hair and it a little on the thicker side.They also only have maybe 2 techs that do acrylic nails and fill.This nail place is horrible!
