I am a New York State Licensed Massage Therapist and certified member of the American Massage Therapy Association. My treatment style is relaxation-focused and informed by modalities including craniosacral, energy work, reflexology and deep tissue. Each session is individualized. My intention is to empower clients to live their best lives; moving toward freedom from pain, relief from stress and holistic balance of mental and physical aspects of the body. Located half of a mile from the beautiful Erie canal and the Village of Pittsford. It was a pleasure to meet Kimmy today. She was extremely in tune with my individual needs and cognizant of checking in and assessing my comfort level. Throughout my massage and in order to address my arthritis, Kimmy incorporated heated stones and a Thai Poultice treatment that was fragrant and inflammation reducing. Kimmy was absolutely wonderful. Entering the suite it was thoughtfully decorated to instill a sense of peace, welcome and calm. She carefully picked out all the smallest details–I mentioned I liked the pen for filling out the form as it wrote smoothly and didn’t smudge. After a quick chat about what I was looking to accomplish with the session we entered her studio space and it was like a retreat with the calming music/noise, colors and lighting. Throughout the massage Kimmy would ask if the pressure was ok (we were working out some tight muscles as my goal for the session). She utilized a variety of tools during my session to assist her in helping me. I can honestly say she was able to restore a larger range of motion to my body that has been limited from muscle tightness. I left there feeling relaxed and my range of motion is still large almost a week later. I am looking forward to seeing Kimmy again in the future to continue unlocking my potential as an athlete through her work. Oh, and was treated to a beverage (water or seltzer) after and a snack (chocolate, granola bar or peppermint). She is so thoughtful–like I said, no detail was left overlooked by her.

I had a 60 minute deep tissue massage with Kimmy today and it was wonderful. She was very communicative about my needs before the massage and was sure to ask (just a few times) during if the amount of pressure was appropriate. Her office is very soothing and I had a relaxing massage that felt great for my sore muscles.

If I could give 6 stars, I would! Kimmy is FANTASTIC! I went to her with a specific issue I needed worked on, and she was attentive and responsive to my requests, and used several methods to work out the lingering knot I had in my glute. The massage was perfectly tailored to exactly what I needed, and she was friendly as well as very skilled with body mechanics and several methods to address what was needed.
