NJ luxury salon in South Orange founded by Creative Director Kosia Asiamah in 2020. I travel from NYC to Lumie Salon as they are experts in color / cut & specialize in curly hair. Everyone in the shop is professional and skilled. They also have formulated amazing hair care products available for home use. Kocia attends trade shows to bring the latest trends to her team an clients. Worth the trip to New Jersey- walking distance from the train and/or plenty of parking.

I have medium-dark brown hair and for the past few years I’ve struggled to achieve the color I was looking for. I’m new to Lumie Salon and have been to Laura twice now and left so happy both times. Laura recently gave me face framing highlights and the color is just perfect. Her calm energy is an added bonus. Kosia and her team are all incredibly talented, attentive, and welcoming. I have been sitting with Kosia for over 5 years now and I never want to go to another salon. I live in Manhattan and go out of my way to get to this salon in New Jersey, because the talent here is superior to high-end salons I have been to in the city. I see Kosia for a “lived-in” balayage and I get compliments everywhere I go. The color looks completely natural and I only need to return every 4+ months for touch-ups. I have seen the stylists at Lumie salon do a beautiful job on all hair types and styles. I highly recommend this salon.
