So I’ve been getting extensions in Florida since 2016 and it’s been a bit of a challenge finding someone I trust in North Carolina. I must say – my time with Charlet was probably my most favorite experience of them all! Of course I don’t have a lot to compare to since I’ve only seen one other hair extension specialist, but some things I noticed after being on machine tied wefts for so long, is the bulk that it places on the head as well as the the tightness and the discomfort that I felt after the system was established. This was what I expected when I went into Charlet’s salon; however, I had no discomfort at all! I initially came in to combine my machine wefts with newly ordered hand tied wefts, but after some further analysis, we decided it would be best to stick with hand tied wefts only. Looking into her collection of hair extensions, we found a beautiful blend of auburn and caramel colors that seated so well in my dark hair. Again, I came in to the appointment thinking it was just a routine move up for my hair extensions, and here I am, getting a beautiful new dimension to my hair! Charlet was very in tune with how I felt and made sure to check in throughout the entire process. One thing I really appreciated about her is her passion for hair health and happiness. She saw a couple of moles on my head and made me aware in the case it was something concerning. She also introduced me to Cult and King products that are an absolute dream! Highly recommend the scalp tonic :). As I stepped out of the salon my head felt lighter and I felt much more comfortable.

I contacted Lumeria because I wanted hair extensions and I was drawn to the aesthetic of the website. I found out that Charlot was one of the only stylists/salon owners close by that practiced this bead hand-tied method of extensions. Charlot greeted me, offered food/drink, and made me feel at ease immediately. She gave me all the information I needed about extensions and what each process entailed. She is extremely knowledgeable about her craft and was willing to make me comfortable and meet my needs as well. She took her time and the result was nothing short of transformational! Her services are worth every penny and I would highly recommend her to anyone who wants a top quality experience. She curated a goody bag with 4 of her top lines of eco-friendly, non-toxic products with some full-size samples and a custom brush. I am so glad I found her and will be returning for regular visits.

Lumeria was recommended to me by a friend who worked with Charlet for her makeup for her wedding. Although Charlet is not available for my upcoming wedding, she was incredibly generous and recommended multiple other salons and artists to me. She also posted in a local beauty business group on my behalf. Although I can’t provide a review of my own hair or makeup experience with Lumeria, my friend looked stunning on her wedding day. Charlet spent 7 labor-intensive hours color correcting my hair and was exquisitely accommodating the entire time. Her salon is clean and has a welcoming presence.
