The BEST shop for little kids! Dolores is patient, kind, fast, efficient, and does great cuts. We’ve been going here since my son was 1 year old and he loves going! Hairstyling

Critical: Professionalism, ValueWe’ve always had great experiences with the owner Dolores who cut my four year old sons hair at least five times with no issue. There’s a new person there now who shouldn’t be working with kids. My son never cried during a haircut before. She didn’t talk to him at all, pulled him back in the chair too roughly, ignored him when hair was falling into his shirt and scratching, kept pulling his hair back hard and then kind of yelling at him to keep his head down. He’s crying throughout. I stopped her after 5 min and was charged full price $35.Service: HairstylingWe’ve always had great experiences with the owner Dolores who cut my four year old sons hair at least five times with no issue. Dolores is amazingly skilled at cutting squirmy little kids’ hair and has great tips for minimizing their movement in the chair in a pleasant way, too. The haircuts come out quite well, too!

Thank you all so much! I brought my two year old to Lulu’s to fix a disaster of a hair cut that we did at home (first and last time). Lulu’s fixed the hair cut and was SUCH a lovely place to have my little one’s first professional haircut. They gave him a box of toy cars and he stayed calm and happy throughout. We will definitely be coming back for all future haircuts!!

There are better places for kids. At $30 I expected more – our hairstylist seemed pretty inexperienced, at the end of the cut asked the manager Dolores to check on it, but she was too busy to do so. Maybe I got used to places like Snippits that have way more kid friendly stuff (TVs, etc.) whereas this place gave my daughter a box of toys that held her attention for only 2 mins. Bummer cause its close to my house but I think its worth the drive to somewhere better next time. I was also very surprised they don’t take credit or debit cards, so had to go to the ATM.

Went for my son’s (2 years old) first haircut. The cut was ok. Not exactly what I wanted but it wasn’t bad. Most of the staff was nice. What really threw me off was one of the stylists told my son that he can’t scream in there and he has to be quiet. She said this as he’s getting his hair cut for the first time, bawling his eyes out. He finally calmed down after we brought him some toys (they have a good collection of toys at the shop) but I think if you’re a salon that markets itself as a family salon, it’d be important to not have stylists who think that sort of behavior is ok. Another thing that gave me pause is the price: $30. For a toddler’s haircut. That’s about as much as my husband has paid to get his haircut.

Wonderful haircut for kiddos of all ages. My daughter goes here and the hair stylist knows exactly how to cut and calm a 4 yr old. We’ve also gotten helpful advice on taming curly hair. No visit would be complete without some time spent playing with the toys or rocking the horse. Note: they are cash only.

The hair dressers seem extremely inexperienced and the last two times have given atrocious haircuts that we had to get fixed at another place. On both occasions they also ignored our very explicit instructions to not to use a buzzer on his sideburns. To add further insult this place only takes cash and charges $30 for a 15 minute cut.

Very expensive for a rushed cut that was no more than a straight line across the bottom of my daughter’s hair. The stylist did not listen to the single request I made regarding the cut. There are stray hairs left uncut throughout. No one looked us in the eye or smiled at us. We would have been better off at a chain or spending just a bit more money for a proper salon cut.
