Critical: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Quality, ValueDO NOT GET NAILS DONE HERE, WASTE OF MONEY!!No offense at all but to be truthfully honest, these are the worst nails I have ever gotten done. I asked the lady if I can get them narrow and straight but she seemed bothered that I asked for a fill, after trying to fix them I asked her again if she could make them straight and even because they are super lumpy and not straight from any angle she was a little bothered again, and finally after polishing them she couldn’t even paint my whole nail and complained again. I am not one to ever complain but since I spent 40$ for this I truly believe that they aren’t professional and don’t enjoy doing their work or taking their time aswell. My 2nd time visiting, Hoy helped me both times. The 1st time she told me i needed a new set because they were to dirty underneath, ( i had a new set 4wks earlier from another city) & that i must have the gel coat.$55. Gel peeled w/in 10days. Todays visit she says i needed another new set, that they were too old & i need gel! I said no, just fill them & regular polish. Scolled me that gels better last long time. I asked for squared .. Another clinet comes in & she was just wanting regular polish too cuz her gel lasted 3 days. Hoy was rude to both of us from then…& i got rounded edges. And uneven bumpy nails & rushed paint job. Onto finding another new place…Lost my business.

Just tried this place for the first time. Very pleasant experience. We had not made an appointment, but they got us in and completed our pedicures in a timely manner. Hoi and Q are very pleasant people to talk with.

I had an appointment at 3 and didn’t get helped until 4 something. The lady said that someone had called out so I understood and was being nice to her about it. The nails were absolutely terrible though. The man there burned me twice. My nails are so uneven. The polish and the acrylic are on my skin. The nail polish is extremely unevenly coated. I only went in for a fill and the total was $35??? Never going there again. They were my birthday nails too 🙁

First of all they reuse the pumice stones on people that just screams a health hazard. Secondly the husband and daughter don’t know what they are doing i seriously cant get over how Bad it was. The daughter layered my nail polish so much it looks like I have acrylics on the tips of my nails (I got a French manicure) the mom had to come and fix both my mom and mine. Will not go here again… which is unfortunate because it’s super conveniently located. I called in to make sure they had appointments for two available at the same time so that my friend and I could get our nails done together, the woman told met to come in right away because they had two open and would wait for us. We got to the salon in less than ten minutes and were told that we now had to wait “20 minutes” because a few ladies walked in before us. If you tell me I have an appointment with you, I expect you to keep it… not give the appointments away to walk-ins. But oh well, decided to let that go and wait for the spots to open up again, and ended up waiting a complete hour to get in. Once we finally got in they did a terrible job on both of our nails. There was polish around the cuticles, you could see a complete mess straight through the pink part of my french tip, and the woman who did my nails messed up three fingers on my fill so she had to to take them completely off and reapply new ones, then tried to charge me for the three nails that *she* broke. Come on now… To top it off, two nails fell off within two days. I’ve never once had a nail pop off that quickly and I get my nails done a lot. The only reason for giving two stars is because there was one nice gentleman in the salon that at least attempted to be courteous and small-talk with us.

Will never go here again. I went in for a fill. Unfortunately my usual nail guy was busy that day, so I decided to try lucky star nails. They were friendly but the quality of work is terrible. I ended up paying 45 dollars with a 5 dollar tip. At first they looked alright. I mean for 45 dollars they better be amazing and last a long time. Plus 45 dollars for a fill is a little outrageous. My appointment was at 2pm, by 7pm I had already broken one nail. I’m a stay at home mom so it’s not like I’m too rough on my nails. By the next night I had 2 broken, and the rest of the them have chipped and peeled off. Very unsatisfied.

Wonderful experience at Lucky Star today… Lee was amazing, and gave me the best pedicure I’ve ever had. I didn’t quite catch the lady’s name, but she did my husband’s pedicure and he was very happy. They were personable, friendly, kind enough to squeeze us in on short notice, and the conversation was fun and amusing. I will definitely go back.
