Im sorry, Im really unsatisfied with my cut. I have curly hair and got a cut yesterday from Mandy. I had really long hair and I told her I wanted 4 inches cut off and even showed her photos of how I wanted it to look like. She ended up cutting more than 4 inches maybe about like 8 inches was cut off. I was able to put it into a ponytail and now I can’t even do that anymore.

I love Morgan, she’s the best. We spent a whole day at the salon together last year when she bleached my very dark thick hair, and she was working so hard the whole 13 hours. I loved the color she did on me and it lasted for MONTHS; she does not skimp on quality products. Then she did my pixie cut just last month and I’m coming in again for a trim. Highly recommend. She’s very focused and professional but also hilarious. Her dog is such a sweet baby too.

We were chatting the whole time and she made sure to explain every aspect of what she was doing while regularly asking for my opinion. Extremely satisfied with the cut and service. I waited a while to write this review to see how the cut would grow out, and I must say I really like it! The cut gave my hair a lot of volume and is what I asked for. My problem is that I paid $70 for less than 20 minutes in the salon. My wash was very rushed with no massaging of the shampoo or conditioner (my favorite part of going to the salon!). To make it worse, Luci didn’t finish drying my hair completely, so I walked out to a chilly November night with a cold scalp.

Did a thorough job cutting off my dead hair but styling in some layers so it still looked full (I have thin but curly hair that has taken a beating from bleach and months of Arizona sun and hard water, so it was a challenge I’m sure). She suggested techniques and products and follow up care without being pushy. And the price that was stated was the price I paid, plus tip. I also dont usually talk much during a cut but she was easy to talk to without being super chatty. My hair feels healthy and has a great cut now. I’ll be going back to her from now on.

I had a great experience at this salon! It’s a small place, comfortable but professional. I love that the products they use are organic, and they are lightweight and smell nice. Mallory did an excellent job with my cut. She was very sweet and really knew what she was doing. Luci obviously knows how to pick her mentees. 🙂 A HUGE step up in quality from the chain hair salons I’m used to. Worth every penny!
