Begging a client to tip is unprofessional and leaves you not wanting to tip. Tips shouldn’t be forced on the way out. I am a huge tipper but I’m sorry that was just rude. They also try to upsell DURING the massage with the cupping and hot stones. I do agree with other reviews that it is more rubbing than massage but it does feel nice.

STAY AWAY- My wife & I purchased a Groupon for $189 for a couples massage and facial. We were informed via telephone that we would have to pay $14 extra for taxes affiliated with the Groupon. There’s no good parking available in Millburn, luckily we got one right infront of the location. While at the desk we were immediately asked about taking a hot stone massage (which would be extra money). We politely declined and explained that we don’t like it. About 5-10 mins into our massage we were asked again about trying the hot stone massage and cupping due to our “muscles being too tight”,again we politely decided. Both employees were speaking in thier native language to one another throughout our massage. My massage therapist was a 6/10 in terms of skill and knowing what do do, whereas my wife’s therapist was a 2/10. When it came time for the facial, the same employee from the front desk tried convincing my wife to have Microdermabrasion added to her facial; $65 per person, $100 for both. She allowed my wife to try it 1st before agreeing to have it done. So now that’s $304, the kicker came at the front desk, when upon leaving we still gave $20 in tip. The same employee told us “The tip is $20 per person, $10 for each hour”. We couldn’t believe our ears. Total $344.00 which is absolutely absurd. We definitely won’t be going back and would advise everyone to Stay Away.

The massage was soooo good! I was super tight so my masseuse, Donna, recommended cupping. It was an extra charge, but totally worth it. The cupping was combined with massage and really worked out all my knots and tension. I’ve never had a massage be as effective at getting rid of my knots. It also included a hot stone treatment after the cupping- amazing!

Purchased a Groupon initially. Massage was good so I bought a gift certificate for a couples massage. Ended up split the couples massage into 2 massages. At my last visit I upgraded to a 90 minute massage with cupping when I booked the massage and it was the best thing I ever did! I will NEVER do a 60 minute massage ever again! Meggy is THE BEST!!! I have done massages at different spas and paid from $30 Groupon pricing to hundreds of dollars at high end spas and honestly paying for a 60 minute massage is a waste of money anywhere. When I left I felt like a whole new person! For the first time I left a massage feeling like I actually got a massage. And this is cupping at its best! Everywhere else I have done cupping they just place the cups on your back and leave you for a few minutes and take them off! Not here! Just trust me when I tell you to book a 90 minute massage with Meggy! Worth every penny!!!! I ended up buying a package because I have finally found someone who knows the purpose of a massage, the purpose of cupping, the physiology of the body and how to apply knowledge into practice! Do not hesitate to book an appointment.

Good day to all. I purchased a full body massage via Groupon. I was excited to go for a relaxing soft music no talking massage. I really looked forward to it because I have had some medical issues that leave me using a cane. Well I arrived and I guess to two women saw me with the cane. Before going into the room the woman who never said her name or a name tag trying to sell me 5 massages for 2 hundred dollars. I told her I can’t afford that. Then going in the room she decided to diagnose me about my back issues. I was screaming in pain asking her to stop she said her arms are like a hammer. she kept trying to get me to buy a session of the suction cups and I needed several sessions. I kept telling her I am unemployed right now and can’t afford it. I have to choose buying food or paying my untities. But she won’t stop. She kept talking and trying to sell me some thing I can’t afford. I even asked her would she choose getting a massage or buying food and she replied that a massage is my health and that comes first. I agree but not having food to eat. That massage was a gift. That place should me shut down. And checking out a pulled out a ten dollars too and she pushed it back to me saying she doesn’t accept anything but a 20 dollars tip. I was screaming in pain in that room saying please stop. But she kept saying she knows what she is doing and she has been doing this for 22 years. She wouldn’t stop talking.

I absolutely love this spa! The staff is so friendly and I always get a deep tissue massage which they do extremely well. I used their Groupon first but had to purchase their VIP package. 5 massages for $200, no expirations and can be used by others in the family!!! Try them out!!!

I purchased a couples 60 minute reflexology massage on Groupon. I called before coming to confirm. They said we were booked. I took the 35 minute drive only to be told I’m very poor communication that the computer would not let them take the Groupon, after writing the number down in a booklet. They offered to serve me, if I paid them directly! They even said they would charge me Less than I already paid. We did not get to redeem. The place smelled like feet and Duck sauce and was super tight!

This spa is a disgrace to Millburn Township. First off, the 60-minute massage felt like it was done in 45 minutes. It was inconsistent – each side of my body received different treatment. I am not sure if the therapist is even qualified or licensed. She was not focused because she was also the receptionist. It is a one-person operation. She was in such a rush because there were customers in the waiting room. She was also not pleasant and gave me the look when I paid with a credit card…and this review is coming from a fellow Asian. I will forfeit my future sessions that I paid for. Worst experience, Will never recommend.

Critical: Communication, Professionalism, QualityThis place should be shut down. Customer service was absolutely horrible! The lady at the front desk is so rude and doesn’t speak English. My friend and I got the hydrating facial but we were put in the same room because only one of the employees was qualified to perform a facial. The appointment was rushed, the lady ridiculed the condition of my friend’s skin, turned the lights on several times, and talked through the whole appointment so it wasn’t relaxing at all. At one point during the treatment, she ripped the towel off of us, exposing our bare chests! When my friend grabbed the towel to cover up, the lady replied “no, it’s okay.” Then as we were leaving, we were yelled at for not tipping because “you come to America, you have to tip.” We were so disturbed and caught off guard that we left a tip even though they definitely did not deserve it. Avoid this place like the plague! This place should be shut down. Customer service was absolutely horrible! The lady at the front desk is so rude and doesn’t speak English. Critical: Communication, Professionalism, QualityI usually don’t write the reviews, but I’m still shocked by my experience. I got a coupon from Groupon for facial and massage. I called them and was told that I just need to bring the coupon and they will match the price for that service. When I came, the receptionist kept saying “this is too cheap, too cheap” as if she was surprised and did not know about this promotion. The coupon said, “facial and massage of choice”.I said that I want a deep tissue massage. Receptions said that this is $10 extra, and I paid. My massage was ok, but it was not deep tissue massage at all. The lady who was doing my massage just did a massage for somebody else for 1 hour and probably got tired. I did not complain. Facial was not great. The lady who did it is also a receptionist. She was not gentle at all. She offered a dermo-abrasion procedure for extra $30. I said that I’m not gonna do it now, but she said it’s just a few minutes and I agreed to have it done for another $20 extra. She did it as if she was in a rash. It was not relaxing. Two ladies were talking their language al the times in front of me. My mom received the same massage and facial during the same time. When we were done, I was thinking that I would give them 3/5 stars, but the situation changed when I went to pay. So I payed $20 extra for which was supposed to be a deep tissue massage, and $40 extra for dermo-abrasion, which is $60 extra for two people. I also left $10 tips. The reception asked me with round eyes, “what is this pointing to $10”. I said that these are tips. I was still trying to be nice despite not being very happy with the service. Then she said,”this is too cheap, too cheap!” I was shocked! I did not expect this. I looked at my wallet and saw that I only had $2 more left of cash. I told her that I don’t have more cash. She said,”do you want to pay tips with your card?” I was even more shocked! She said that I have to give at least $20 tips for me and my mom. I gave her $2 more (whatever I had in my wallet), said that’s it all I have, and left. I heard her screaming and complaining to the lady who did the massage that we only left $12 tips! This was my first and last time there! So disrespectful and unprofessional people! Please don’t waist your time! I wish I read the reviews before going there because as I see now many people got yelled at for not leaving enough tips! This is ridiculous! I regret that I did not say anything to her, and did not take my $12 tips back because they did not deserve it!I usually don’t write the reviews, but I’m still shocked by my experience.
