It would be 0 star but Google does not let you!!! Bad service!! The lady at the front desk is very nasty and i think she is the owner!!! I feel bad leaving without Giving tip so gave them $20 in tip eventhough sign says tip is not necessary. The lady is so greedy that she wants more!! When I refused to give, she says “DON’T COME BACK”. Not only that, we had a deal from the groupon, and when we called to get an appointment and told them we have a coupon from Groupon, she goes we don’t have any appointment till next month. My wife called next day to get an appointmmet and she did not mentioned the groupon deal and got the appointment for the following day. IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO TAKE THE GROUPON DEAL, THEN STOP PUTTING ON GROUPON. Will Never go there again.

We receive this voucher as a Groupon. The massage and facial was good. We tipped what we thought was appropriate. The lady in the front was very demanding imposing that we need to tip more. We tipped $10 on top of our original tip and she continue to demand more and then suggested that we put the rest of the tip on the card. When I explained that tip is supposed to be what the customer wants to give on top of what they have already been charged she became very irritated. We will not be coming here again. Good massage but extremely poor customer service.

Front desk lady has a very nasty attitude but sure gave her a piece of my mind. She kept asking for a coupon and didn’t know what the heck she was talking about. Couple massage was paid 2 months ago and had to pay an extra fee.

Should’ve read the reviews before coming bc I agree w everything I’m seeing: crazy upsell during the massage without transparent pricing, didn’t feel better after massage, gouged tips (I wanted to split the $20 across 2 people and the owner took it for herself, refused to give back). Also she charged tax even when paying by cash, refused to give change. Should’ve known from the beginning it was going to be sus.

Very arrogant staff especially lady named Maggie. They demand tip based on their choice post the service and you cannot even have a say. If you ask questions they start screaming and commenting bout my country of origin. I gave 25% tip but they demanded more . If you ask questions they show a board with their own rules of giving tip based on their standards. They say that is their salary. Then what is the amount that we pay for service? Also inclusive of service tax .. Once she started commenting about my country I didn’t want to pay the tip as well but she grabbed the tip and started to scream more about the country.

Came here for a couples massage. The massage itself was fine (noisy background), however I will not be coming back because of poor customer service. First, I had a hard time making an appointment because they said I already used a Groupon for a facial (which was a gift not even purchased by me). The lady hung up on me until I called again and asked to speak to the manager. Second, they forced us to give a larger tip than we desired. The masseuse’s did a good job, but I should be able to choose how much I want to tip. Rude and very dismissive manager. Not returning.

My friend and I had a Couple’s Massage and Facial at Lucid Beauty & Wellness Spa in Metuchen, NJ on Saturday 5/7/22 to celebrate our birthdays. The staff was very nice, accommodating, and knowledgeable about skin care. We both had really good experiences with both the massages and the facials and would definitely go back! A plus is that it’s right on Main Street in Metuchen, which gave us the opportunity to choose from a variety of choices for our dinner after the spa time. Parking was really simple at Lucid Beauty & Wellness Spa, too!
