Lovie’s Salon

Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueAlicia did my hair for my wedding, along with my mom’s. She did such an awesome job and she was so great at knowing what I wanted and seeing my vision after showing her a few pics and explaining what I was looking for. A couple weeks before the wedding she cut and colored my hair as well. She asked if she could do a little more with my layers and framing and it turned our amazing! She is so great to work with and being in the salon is like a little paradise. My mom, mother-in-law and I decided to go to the salon instead of having them come to the house. Being able to step away from the wedding setup and everyone getting ready was such a blessing to my big day. The three of us got some time to step away, get pampered (and sip some mimosas!!) Alicia and Kelly had the salon all set up for us and my sister and sister-in-law were able to stop by and hang out for a little bit while we were getting ready. Spending a couple hours at Lovies with my ladies was such a highlight of my wedding day prep! Alicia did my hair for my wedding, along with my mom’s. She did such an awesome job and she was so great at knowing what I wanted and seeing my vision after showing her a few pics and explaining what I was looking for. A couple weeks before the wedding she cut and colored my hair as well. She asked if she could do a little more with my layers and framing and it turned our amazing! I would give Lovie’s more than five stars if I could. I saw Jenn for a haircut and balayage. She did an amazing job looking at my pictures and talking through what I wanted, and suggested some ideas that would go well with my face shape and coloring – I absolutely love my cut and color! Lovie’s has such a calm, relaxing atmosphere – from the salon cat to the snacks they gave me during my appointment. In talking to Alicia and Jenn, I felt like they were friends I had known forever. Can’t wait to come back for my next appointment.

Kelly and Alicia provided hair and makeup service for my bridal party of seven people and they were beyond excellent. Prior to the wedding date they were extremely easy to work with and made me feel at ease. The morning of the event they spent time with every person to talk through options and what each person wanted and were really great about being flexible with everyone’s needs (some folks wore a natural look and some went glam). Everyone loved the way they looked and I cannot wait for the photos! They even went so far as to leave us each with little lip stick and eye shadow refreshers just in case we needed touch ups (we didn’t). I went to Lovie’s for my destination wedding with my bridesmaids. It’s a shot in the dark booking appointments with places you’ve never been to, but the women here exceeded our expectations. It was just us the whole time myself and 3 bridesmaids got our hair and makeup done. They made us feel comfortable and we just got to hangout and spend time with one another when the others were getting done-up.
