I’ve been this establishments a couple of times before and they did service me well in the past. However, I went to pink french tips with a hot pink outline. I even told the male nail stylist i wanted pink french tips and showed an example picture. Before he started painting them I asked if he needed to see the picture again. He said “No need, I know what to do.” I had a nagging feeling he didn’t but I let benefit of the doubt to take over. When he was doing my nails he was aggressive handling my hands and nails. He had painted my nails white but I thought he was still going to apply the pink nail polish. I was trying to trust the process. Then I began to get nervous again and I asked if he was going to add the pink soon. He looked at me confused saying “You wanted white french tip.” I replied “no, I wanted pink like in the picture.” He was exasperated “Oh no if I knew you wanted pink then I wouldn’t have wasted my time” he said this in a condescending tone. I showed him the pic which clearly was pink french tips. he still tried to gaslight me saying it was ‘white’ in the picture. He then tried to ‘fix’ my nails but he did a sloppy job assuming he was frustrated and was in a hurry bc he kept repeating “it was a waste of time”. So I’m rating this experience as 2 stars because V did a very good job on my younger sisters nails. I would recommend V as a nail stylist to do designs. So please avoid getting your nails done by the male nail stylist. The example pic of how I wanted my nails and the nail stylist claiming it looked white when he saw it once, which shows he wasn’t going into this with intentions to do it well or satisfy the customers. The outline is uneven and too thick. You cant tell in the pics well but the white underneath is showing through the pink and tip. The last pic is the example of the nails I wanted.

My nails turned out great! I have never gotten my nails professionally done, I’ve always done them myself. So I just showed up with a picture of what I wanted and she matched it perfectly!! The manicurist paid such close attention to detail on the rhinestones and placed them all in the exact spot. I am so impressed and will definitely be making this my regular spot!

The place was clean and overall the experience was okay. The reason for the lower rating is strictly customer service based. I took both my daughter and I to this salon while we were in Los Banos on vacation visting family. I made it clear to my nail tech that I was paying for my daughter and selected our services. Another nail tech comes up when mine was almost complete to start my daughters pedicure. The tech I had dropped a paper in her cart showing my charges. As she went through my daughters, she asked for several upcharge services that I declined. Once we were done, I walked with my daughter to the register to wait in line. After a few minutes I decided to send my daughter to the car to wait for me. I saw the nail tech she had jump up, start looking around the room, then run to the tech I had talking angrily. I may not have known what she said, but body language and demeanor made it clear she accused my daughter of stealing services I was trying to pay for from the line. I instantly saw red and loudly said across the salon, she didn’t walk out, I am trying to pay and sent her to the car. A lady jumped up and said, its okay, its okay. I told her its not okay to accuse people of stealing. She then apologized, but the tech that accused her never did. I won’t be back her for future trips. Beyond the pale.

Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Quality, ValueLoved this place, every employee was so patient with me and my 2 yr old toddler who was fussy the entire time so they’d entertain her with lollipops the entire time I was there I’m so happy they didn’t judge me for her behavior! They attended me fairly quick considering I was a walk-in. The nails were done so well and almost identical to the picture I showed my nail tech that I wanted!
