So this is my first time coming here and the people are nice but I gave Ms. Brenda pic of the her cut I wanted she didn’t even get close to doing it right and she kept asking me do you want me to do this and that over and over all I wanted her to was look at the pic and accomplish the style I asked for! And if you don’t know how to do something just say that! I mean nothing about the style was right and the curls didn’t last 15 minutes after I left the salon I was so upset! because it seems she had no skill and kept asking how did I want her to fix I don’t know what needs to be done to make look like the pic or even close but she is suppose to be the stylist you tell me and do it! So it was clear she didn’t know what she was doing! I really wanted to find a stylist who could maintain that look for me so I could be a regular you know treat myself keep my hair done but she was not the one!

Rude, unprofessional, and lacking basic skills. I have never been to a stylist that made me feel that they didn’t want to cut my hair, and that did less than the bare minimum. No wash, in fact didn’t wet my hair at all, hurriedly and roughly brushed my hair, used clippers on my ends (never experienced anything but scissors/razor before and knew right then something was wrong). I have extra long hair and I only went in for a trim . I’ll be making an appointment with an experienced stylist at another salon to achieve more even results.

I have been in search of a really good stylist/shop. My hair is not the easiest to maintain and it was in bad need of a detangler before anything else. Lucky me, I came on Brandy’s very first day! This woman was extremely patient, such a great listener and attentive to all my needs. She had her work cut out for her, but took the necessary time to get my hair straight. – She helped save so much of my matted 4c hair, when I was sure I’d have to cut alot of it off. I’m excited to see where her career takes her!

The woman who cut my hair was Tasha B. and she did an amazing job. I have struggled for years finding someone who knew how to cut curly hair. She made it look nearly effortless, was able to keep my length and gave me bangs that feel incredible. The whole place was very welcoming and down to earth. I would happily recommend this place and go again.

I highly recommend Lovely Hair Designs. Donetta braided my daughters hair beautifully then turned around and braided my hair on a last minute schedule. Both turned out better than I’ve ever seen! This is hands down the best salon I’ve ever been to. Excellent customer service, the ladies here are very professional, the salon is clean, professionally decorated and organized.
