The reason I gave 2 and not 1 stars is because it was clean, horrible horrible job and so over priced, I found a new place in Poughkeepsie for quarter of their price and did an amazing job! I would never go to this place again. Charging me $70 for tips and doesn’t even use gel (never experienced that before ) and because of the horrible job of regular color I asked for them to use gel color, he charges me extra $10 but doesn’t mention anything until I head out the door. Few of my friends have been and said the same thing.

After going to Love nails quite often, I was publicly accused that I didn’t leave tips and then that the tips were too small. Like really?! Tips are not a mandatory, it’s something a customer will give if they want to say ‘thank you’ for an excellent job. And it wasn’t excellent at all. Initially I always ask not to do half of the procedures from the package (like massage, scrub, etc), I bring my own polish. But still they always charge me the full price even though they save time, products, etc on me. And after being fully charged for just an average quality mani&pedi without any extras they told me in front of the whole place that I didn’t give tips and then that I should give higher tips. It was very rude and you made me feel like I didn’t pay for the service at all like I’m some kind of a cheater who wanted to leave without paying (but I did pay and I was overcharged!!). So you got your several dollars tip but you lost a client.

I came in on a Sunday, no appointment. I had my brows, hand and feet done. Great job!!! Decent crowd for a Sunday. Staff super friendly and nice. Super clean salon, no toxic smells or fumes.

They give an excellent manicure and pedicure. The staff are professional. Environment is very clean and comfortable. I got the callus’s removal pedicure for $38. Did a good job and the hot stone leg massage was great. Best regular manicure i have received in the area.

$265.00 for….Two 30 minute pedicures, a full set of tips for my daughter and a gel manicure for my niece. Call me crazy or cheap but I did not expect to pay that much. Pedicure was 55.00 (because option #2 was not available) tips with a design on 4 nails (my daughter wanted beads but we couldn’t afford them at &1.00 a bead) costs 85.00 and a gel maicure (just paint with hearts on two nails for Valentine’s Day) was 35.00.The bill tallied up to 230.00 plus tips equaled 265.00. Maybe I should give up nursing and learn how to do nails!!!

When I said this to the lady she looked like a deer in head lights and had no idea how to do it. So the manager came over and showed her. I was very skeptical but just let it happen. I was completely rushed, I had one lady dipping my fingers on one hand and the manager was filing down my fingers, catching the debris on to her lap, worse part about it did not even wash her hands and she went to work with another client. When I said this to the lady she looked like a deer in head lights and had no idea how to do it. So the manager came over and showed her. I was very skeptical but just let it happen. The salon is clean and the staff are friendly, but…they did not do everything that was supposed to be included in the pedicure package that I paid for. Two different nail technicians (toes & hands) had difficulty with what I wanted. I showed multiple pictures and they struggled to get it right. In addition, I had some small rhinestones on my nails and the techs kept putting them on upside-down, as in sparkly part facing my nail. Multiple times I had to stop the tech and fix it for them. Very disappointed.
