I have been to my fair share of nail salons in my day & Lotus Nails is my favorite! I have only lived in the area for over a year and have tried 3 other salons in the Huntley/Algonquin area and was not impressed. I am so happy that I tried Lotus Nails and found this gem. Lily always does an amazing job, takes her time and listens to everything you want. She remembered my name after only 1 visit and is super kind, friendly and she is super accommodating with my 4 year old daughter who comes along with me. I have been getting lots of compliments on all of my no-chip manicures. I Highly recommend this family owned business. A+

I just left after my first visit there and it was absolutely everything I’ve been looking for in a new salon. Liz was incredibly friendly, personable, and took her time doing my pedicure. She used new tools on my feet, and as soon as I stood up she sprayed the bowl behind me. Very fair pricing and tons of polish selections! I will for sure be back!

Critical: QualityToday was my first day trying the salon, I went in early and asked if they were able to get me in for a powder dip in manicure(which I never got.) I picked out a color and sat down with one of the technicians while I asked her to cut my nails down extremely low and I had to repeat myself several times before she actually did it. Then while filing my nails she filed into my skin and cut or should I say filed it down so bad that it made me bleed. But not only did she not tend to the bleeding skin she wanted to keep using the nail file that she kept using and got blood on it. This is after I told her to not do that because she’s going to get blood on the file and continue to use it. My finger continued to bleed and was never tend to until I washed my hands. While she was filing my nails I kept having to tell her that they were uneven and to reshape them. She put the top coat on and I don’t think they were under the gel light long enough she didn’t check them and proceeded to put cuticle oil on them and continued to rub it in my nail while my nail was not dry. For the price of the nails and the experience that I had it is not worth it. Today was my first day trying the salon, I went in early and asked if they were able to get me in for a powder dip in manicure(which I never got.) However, I rated this salon so low because it has literally only been 7 days and my nails all lifted and lost 2. I was able to easily remove the others. Went in last weekend and had a full set and pedicure. The people working there are friendly. However, I rated this salon so low because it has literally only been 7 days and my nails all lifted and lost 2. I was able to easily remove the others. I also asked for a natural look and they were square. I’m sad because it was a nice salon and they were friendly.. but my nails should not have came off 7 days later.
