Writing this with clarity of hindsight – I had my hair stripped of old dye and colored red way back in March. To this day, my hair is still gummy and in poor condition on the back and under area of my head where the stylist left bleach in too long. In spite of regularly hydrating it, using Ph balanced Redken shampoo/conditioner, and staying away from extra processing, it is STILL gummy and stretchy everytime I wash it and it is going to take literal years to fix the damage that was done. I have a lot of hair that goes down to my waist, but it’s very fine/thin in texture. I believe because they double book appointments here, my stylist was too busy with another client when my hair should have been getting rinsed of bleach. What should have been a ~15 minute processing time for my hair type, was turned into 30+ minutes. When the color she applied did not stick properly to my hair on the back of my head I complained of the mismatching color and it was a huge pain to get back in to fix it, and they literally would only cover the one spot for free and I had to pay out of pocket to get it all uniformly covered again. I mentioned the gummy texture in person and it was barely acknowledged. Even after all that ‘fixing’ my hair was fading to brown faster than I have ever seen it fade before. I sincerely regret my decision to come to this salon to get my hair so damaged like this, when I had the same thing done at another salon years ago and this was far, far from the same experience. I’m out hundreds of dollars and will take about 5 years growing my hair out to be what it was, when I could have done better mixing at home. Personally I can’t trust this place ever again, and I really used to like it here. They say they refund or fix it for free, but I still had to pay for ‘extra’ bowls of dye to repair my whole head – and here I am still dealing with the damage. Be wary.

I really don’t like reviewing poorly on places but I was really disappointed. I got my hair cut by an associate that was recommended to me and I have really thick hair so I wanted someone that would be able to work with it and thin it out. She was super sweet and we talked about what I wanted done to my hair and I showed her pictures and agreed on a style and a length. The experience was just… odd. I’ve never had a haircut where the actual cut lasted less than 20 minutes but I trusted that she knew what she was doing. We didn’t talk the entire time which is fine, but the stylist didn’t ask me if the length was okay, or any of the lengths of my bangs or layers was okay until she asked me if I wanted her to style my hair for me. I was confused considering she parted my hair and just used her fingers and then didn’t check to make sure it was straight before just starting to cut my hair (the part… was not straight at all or else I wouldn’t have cared). It just felt very rushed and choppy, I ended up looking virtually the same to the point where people just asked me “oh… did they just straighten your hair?” I should have been more vocal but was overall just confused how quick things ended as she was blow drying my hair but mainly just pointing the blow dryer directly inside my ear. I’m just overall disappointed and confused, the stylist was really nice but it felt like she was literally rushing me out of the chair.

I made appointment 1st time for hair foil & arrived 5 minutes late because I was on important phone call standing outside of salon! When I arrived went inside, they told me that they had to cancel my appointment! I guess I won’t be using this salon & will tell everyone what happened so they don’t call them either! *my appointment at 2:30pm would of been the last appointment of the day, this is what they did tell me, when I called to schedule appointment, so I didn’t think that 5 minutes would matter cauz you usually wait that before getting started & I knew what I wanted done with my hair highlights!
