This office is still requiring masks!!! I was refused service because I was not wearing one. They did not ask me if it was a health issue, but rather just denied me services. The use of masks are not sufficient to provide an adequate level of protection against COVID-19 according to the World Health Organization! We are no longer required to wear them om planes, government buildings, etc. so why are they CHOOSING to make us wear one when the research has proven otherwise? I will never go here again and I plead that others in Hernando County stand up and refuse to let them take away our freedoms!

Rishi Patel and his staff were non-attentive and disorganized. Using VA community care I was referred to Lotus Dermatology. I felt off from the first appointment when none of the requests VA community care made on my behalf, were upheld by Lotus.. Endless EOB’s later, being hung up on, being talked down to during appointments, told that I’m “questioning the doctors intelligence and intellect”. Reported to WHHVA in hopes other veterans can avoid this place.

Dr. Utpal Patel and staff are the best people I have ever encountered in a Dr. office. The friendliness, professionalism, and overall experience was amazing. From the first visit, to my 3 separate surgeries, although a little nervous, everyone made me feel very comfortable and supportive. Dr. Patel is very personable and talks to you while doing the procedures which is great in keeping your mind occupied while going through any surgery. The staff is a lot of fun and makes you feel right at home. I love them all and will never go anywhere else. Thank you for being kind, fun loving and always making sure I was getting the best care.. The Best Team Ever!!!

Dr. Patel and his staff are very friendly, courteous and caring. They perform a thorough check-in process and ask excellent questions to determine the primary reason for the visit. The team of assistants are interested in your issues and promote feedback and discussion to discern any problems. The in-office treatment was painless and complete. First of all, the atmosphere and staff is very courteous, very polite, little or no waiting to be seen. The assistant Noreen is very good at what she does, very thorough. Dr Patel is an awesome doctor. I have had 3 dermatologists in the past and out of them Dr Patel (#4) is the best. Great bedside manner and caring. I would highly recommend this place to anyone!

This is the most friendly and professional environment you can find in a doctor office probably in this country. All the nurses are highly polite and very knowledgeable on every detail. It looks to me that they are always happy and they broadcast that feeling to the whole place. I can’t find enough words to describe doctor Patel. Highly professional, very precise, very friendly, but there’s one detail that always amazes me: no matter how serious is your problem, doctor Patel always gives you a positive message, he always gives you faith, he makes you look at the bright side, he makes you feel like there’s hope. The receptionists were polite and reassuring while I was having a mini panic attack about my procedure. The assistant was very kind and gentle. I scarcely felt any of my numbing shots and the few I did feel were next to nothing. The doctor was quick and efficient. I felt no pain and he took extra steps to calm me, like reclining my chair and offering me a blanket. He kept me talking and distracted and we were in and out in no time. Would 100% recommend this place. Probably the easiest and most pain free doc appointment I’ve ever had. Couldn’t be more grateful!
