I’ve been going here for 2 years, but this was the last time because the best nail tech they had no longer works there. No one there knows how to properly cut an ingrown toe nail. The tech I had spent 20 minutes digging into it with the clippers and scraping it out with the metal stick to the point where my toe was red and inflamed. I have a high tolerance for pain, but even I was wincing, which she thought was funny. Any other person would have been screaming in the salon with how painful it was. The gel was not coated properly on my nails either, as seen in the photos. I paid $100, I wasn’t looking for a discount. But when I spoke about the painful experience at the front desk, the manager didn’t even look me in the eyes or address it. I don’t know if that’s a cultural thing or if he just doesn’t know how to effectively handle customer complaints. All I got was “oh sorry” from the tech up front. Don’t be sorry for me; be sorry for the amount of customers you’ll continue to lose by remaining this way.

Got a full set done & it was nice. I was asked about shape & length preference but never warned about extra charges? My full set with gel which is advertised as 45 was actually 60. It’s fine whatever they want to charge but this can be confusing for a customer. I was told it was 5 extra for the shape slight coffin & 5 extra for length after I asked about the price jump. Just advertise the correct price & everything is perfect.

No no no no. I came here about 6 months ago was unhappy with my visit. They charged me more than what their website said and it wasn’t even worth it. The owner told me they would update their prices online but they still haven’t 6 months later…but I gave it a second chance today because others have told me they like this salon. I paid for the Spa Pedicure which their website says is $40 but it’s actually $42, and then they charged me $5 extra dollars because apparently I grabbed a regular polish from a shelf that says extra $5. I did not grab the polish from that shelf but they don’t care. The lady didn’t shape my toes at all and I paid $47 for a very average pedicure. Not coming here again.

Critical: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Quality, ValueBy far the worst pedicure I have ever had. We each paid about $65 dollars for gel pedicures which were not done properly at all. There was no cleaning of the nails, my nails were not even cut down nor made even, my heels were left super rough, my “hot towel” was cold, my friend was cut because her tech was attempting to cut at the corner of her toe multiple times and they rushed through the pedicures. By far the worst pedicure I have ever had. We each paid about $65 dollars for gel pedicures which were not done properly at all. There was no cleaning of the nails, my nails were not even cut down nor made even, my heels were left super rough, my “hot towel” was cold, my friend was cut because her tech was attempting to cut at the corner of her toe multiple times and they rushed through the pedicures. 1- star because 0 doesn’t exist. But I should have given Christine 5 stars each time I went before today. I have been going to Lotus for nearly a year. The lady called Mrs. Christine has been taking care of me and others. Today when I went they said, “she had a family emergency, she’s not here,” then offered someone else to service me. I had a pedicure from another lady I called, respectfully Ms. T, as that was all she gave. After she completed my pedicure she walked away and said nothing, literally nothing. She did not help me put my slides on, direct me to the drying station, nothing. I was polite, said thank you quite a bit, referred to her as Ms. T and was still planning to let her become my new technician. WELL when I was pushing to check out, the blonde haired Manager type woman who is always at the front station at the door says ,”Christine quit she not here anymore,” before I could say a thing. So I asked for my 2- week follow up @9:30am to be with “Mrs. T” to which the same woman replied ” she cannot do it.” So I paid and said, “is there another day or time she can? ” to which the same lady replied, “she does not want to service you.” Honestly I was taken aback not just because I’m black but because I knew in my spirit, I’d in no way offended this women and been nothing but kind and coterie m courteous and starting by mask. She proceeded to another pedicure as I left, of someone who did not look like me. Although it’s perplexing because they service all people, from what I’ve seen. Nevertheless, that was her right to refuse me, without any cause that I could see and my right to speak on it and Never return. P.S. I do know there was a lot of talk about conflict within the shop, maybe they just don’t want to service Christine’s client
