One word. Excellent. Lorton Valley Barber has been taking care of my hair for 10 years. Once you find that one barber who cuts your hair perfect you’ll never go to anyone ever again. That’s what I discovered 10 years ago. Young is the owner and she is a sweetheart. She has treated me like family since the first cut. She and the staff great everyone that walk in. Televisions and reading material to entertain while you wait, then a staff member listens as you explain your preferences. A shave and hot towel to finish. Smooth operation. No hassle. I did say I drive from Fredericksburg right ?

The absolute best barber anywhere around. This is one of the few places left in America where a man can get an old fashioned warm-towel straightrazor shave. As an added bonus, they have two big screen televisions tuned to the sports channel. This place makes me look forward to getting a haircut.

I’ve given this barber shop 3 different chances to get it right. On all instances I asked for a medium fade and a little bit off the top for my son. None of the times did he receive what I asked for. Today was the last draw. I showed the lady the picture of exactly what he wanted, instead of what I asked for, he came out without a fade and no hair left on top. Basically she just took the buzzard and shaved his hair one length. Don’t waste your money here unless you don’t care how you get your hair cut.

They were nice but I give it a 2 star because they don’t listen and they do extra stuff that I didn’t ask to do. I didn’t want my beard to be shaved but they did it… Just because… They didn’t even line up my side burns until I found out in the car and told her and then she did it. Other then that haircut was ok still had give some touch ups when I got home.
