I took my daugther there to have her hair braided. Her hair was” braided” by Lori’s sister. It didn’t even last 2 weeks. I took my daughter to another braider and she said that what my daughter had was twist instead of braids. She said that it was a very poorly done job and I should get my money back. Also that she over price me for the type of job. Also the shop was dirty and cluttered. They just loss a good client as I’m a good tipper. I was going to have my hair braids by them but It won’t happen. I’m very happy with the job that Krystal at Serenity’s Salon did on my daughter’s hair. She did a very beautiful small box braids. So if you don’t want to end up disappointed, I suggest you don’t go to Lorie.

I was referred to Lorie’s Hair Salon by a young lady I met shortly after moving to the Hartford area. Her hair was so nice I had to find out who did it for her. She gave me the name of the shop and also gave me directions and the phone number. I actually went by the shop the same day to met the stylist and to see if I could get an appointment. I met Lorie and we scheduled an appointment for the next day, actually the next morning and I actually love how it turned out! Lorie did a nice neat braid pattern on my hair and it wasn’t to tight. She gave me a price the day before so I knew what I would be paying before hand. Overall I had a wonderful experience! Very nice lady who does great work! Thanks Lorie!
