I had an appointment scheduled for a dip powder mani today at 12. I waited upstairs in the waiting area until 12:25. I wasn’t able to wait any longer, so I told the front desk I was leaving, and they apologized that she was running behind. I’m not sure what’s worse – running 30 minutes behind for an appointment, or working barefoot without shoes? Not sure if this is a standard practice at L&L, but once I saw this (picture attached), it made it clear to me that this wasn’t the type of professional service that’s worth waiting over 30 minutes for.

I have never left a review before but this is probably the only time I have ever felt strongly enough to leave one. I go in for Korean curtain bangs and I leave with 90 degree angle bangs too long for my face. I paid 59 dollars for the worst women’s haircut I have ever had and I’ve been to Supercuts before. I wouldn’t recommend this for anywoman but my friends haircuts (men) were all fine so maybe go there if you’re a guy.

Not at ALL pleased: on Sunday grad school daughter came home to have her hair highlighted for a conference she will attend. She asked for ice blonde highlight and had photos to request the color. Apparently Saturday was Homecoming and all the “good” stylists must have been off Sunday. The young girl who did My daughter’s hair added a DARK toner to it by mistake and also told her should need a glaze that was $75. This took 4 (!) hrs. And then. The hair was turned orange. An actually trained stylist had to rebleach it and try to fix it. 6 hrs later (since she walked in ) my daughter’s hair was more blonde but still had horrible brassy tones. We had a similar incident with a REALLY bad cut last time (a full 3” shorter in one side). In the past L&L was our go to. Never again. They still charged her $87 and now her hair is so brittle she is afraid it will break or fall out. This place has gone downhill!!!

Got my nails done with a gel manicure, on the 29th a d 4 days later one nail started chipping. Today another chipped off even more. I never had a gel manicure only last less then 2 weeks let alone 4 days…. I was unable to go back due to work and at this point I got to get another gel manicure and just pray that they last this time. If it wasn’t for my husband getting me a gift card I would not go back for nails here.

I have been coming here for the last 3+ years. I get my hair done (cut/color) once every couple of months, and have never had a bad experience! I typically see the same stylist every time, but I have worked with others too, and they are all very knowledgeable and skilled.

I was looking for a hair salon that was professional since I am somewhat new in the area and didn’t want to go to “hair cuttery” because they don’t do the best job so I was willing to spend more money when I found out about Lords & Ladies, when I called to make an appointment they were very helpful and polite as well as when I arrived at the location, unfortunately I left with a crooked haircut and not at all what I wanted, and it’s upsetting because you spend all this money to get somebody inexperienced, and the fact that it’s so random who you’re going to get, I understand that girls need to gain experience working somewhere but if this is the kind of place for that they should let you know because I thought that that’s what a $15 dollar haircut was; and I paid much more than that, no I didn’t go back to have it fixed because I already don’t have time so I ended up fixing it myself, very disappointing.

I wish i could give this place 0 stars. You don’t treat a human being the way you treated my sister. Told her you could take care of her hair and then when she comes you laugh at her and tell her “it would be a waste of our product.” Make a young girl feel ugly and terrible about herself. In this day and age you really need to learn a lesson in professionalism. You need to come down off that high horse and be better to your customers. Will never EVER spend a dime in your establishment again.
