Environment here was very calming. The staff was friendly and professional. I had an appointment for a massage. The process from the receptionist to the locker room to the upstairs area was……the attended and escorted you every step. The massage room was warm and calming. I heard no outside noises while getting my service. Char was excellent and professional and did a great job. I am ready planning a girl’s trip for a return visit!! Definitely a 5 out of 5 stars!!

Lor Spa had the kindest and welcoming staff to accommodate our experience at the spa. Lori was great to welcome us and serve refreshing water while giving us a tour. My husband and I celebrated our anniversary and my birthday with a couple’s massage, Char and Nicole did superb jobs that we want to come back for more. Also the cutest touch that Lor spa added was an anniversary card / birthday for the both of us as we left. Thank you guys for an amazing experience.

I’ve been to spas all over the world, this is minot nd, only spa. It has some solid pros: very nice interior, shower, sauna, nice employees, I had a facial and they used a lot of new tools at no extra cost like light therapy. Some major cons however: the music, I’ve never had this be an issue but I’d honestly never come back because of it. It was regular spa music but every minute or so there would be a high pitched almost cat call whistle sounding noise. Idk if I just got a bad day with music but listening to that on repeat actually became stressful. Con 2 was my facialist used gloves for a standard no extraction facial. I’m not a fan of gloves, the sound and feel it makes with products is just not relaxing and they did not state this before booking and you also have to prepay for any services so I wasn’t able to just walk away without losing my money. I just wanted to relax because I had a headache and get pampered a little however this wasn’t the place to do it. It would be nice to have a head massage at the end of the facial however. It’s something i look forward to with all the ones in the past. They can even charge for it and I believe ppl would pay for it.

I felt very relaxed soon as I walked in as the music that was playing was very soothing. I love the cucumber water. Samantha did an excellent job with the massage and the zero gravity chair was excellent.

I have been here several times and love the atmosphere, very peaceful and serene. I do not think it is a 5 star place though, the staff is hit or miss and could be more consistent. I also find the technicians a bit too chatty for a spa, they should not ask a million questions trying to get to know you when you are in for a treatment. I do not want to be quizzed while I am in relaxing. Also, my esthetician went way too crazy dermablading my eyebrows and I looked very 90s. She should have asked how much I wanted them shaped before she just went in.

After being told I would be issued a refund from the money on my account, they turned around and said they don’t do refunds. I called and asked if I had any money on my account and the front desk lady said there was a $0 balance. Definitely not a very good look after mentioning it would be in the mail in under a week and a half.

Well I was really hoping for a relaxing day, but I did not find it here. To start, the robe…. scrachy and hideous. While I was in the sauna enjoying the calm music, an employee came in and dropped boots on the tile floor, scared me half to death I thought the sauna broke or something. Ok whatever, moving on. The massage therapist came in to get me and I followed her up the stairs to the room. I asked her how she was and she said “just ducky” ??? Ymm ok awkward… I stated that it was a bit cold in there and she replied that it was because I just came out of the sauna, ok I can see that. As the massage began it was a very light for my preference, so I told her she can use more pressure. She then told me that to much pressure around the lower back and hips can cause problems. For one, I’ve had several massages and usually deep tissue massages, I didn’t ask her why not, I’m telling her what I want. After she finishes with my back she offers me a hot towel and I accept. She moves on to my legs, after she finishes with my one leg I ask her to remove the towel on my back because it was wet and now cold. She tells me that she usually takes it off after she is done with both legs, AGAIN I did not ask for your opinion or how you “usually ” do it. I telling you to remove it! Throughout the whole 50 min, I could not relax due to the employees in the nail salon being sooo loud I could hear there whole conversation. You could hear everyone walking up and down the hall keys jangling as they walk past, and the person in the next room restalking their drawers and taking out the trash. I left so annoyed and even more tense then when I went in. I will never be back to this “million dollar spa”
